Collecting Semen

What drives people to collect their own semen?

Is it a sexual fetish? Do they think they’ll need it later? How long does the actual sperm last? Do they intend to impregnate a woman with it later? Is this some sort of psychological abnormality and they’re insane?

Note, I’m talking more about people who collect their own semen than sperm banks and those sorts of institutions.

While I note the taboo with this act, I suppose they have every right to keep their semen for themselves.

It’s because they really want some company.

I don’t know why and never will. Not much of a discussion, now is it.

Maybe it’s like collecting fine wine.

They have a freezer filled with racks of the stuff. Each bottle has a nice little date and everything.

it’s not a very interesting discussion, but i also don’t understand the responses.

yes, some people freeze their sperm to be sure they have some when they need it. it’s a fear of becoming infertile i guess; or maybe they hope that after they die, there is still a chance they can get to reproduce.

it doesn’t make any sense to do that without any particular reason though…i’d presume these guys are married, and have a dangerous profession or something like that.

it makes more sense for women to freeze their eggs, which is much more common i think, although much harder to do of course.
