Something else that came up recently that caught my eye. It’s called Agenda 21 and I will give you the link that explains it. Oh…I might have to back the democrats on this one.

Myths and Facts About Agenda 21

Let’s keep this to reality and topics related to the election, hmm?
Non-legally binding. Simple guidelines for development, based on resource and land management.

How the heck is Jhco going to contribute if we’re forced to those limitations?

He can post whatever he wants.
If, as in this case, he posts up a bunch of blatant conspiracy theory a la Beck/Limbaugh/Breitbart, I’ll just post a quick rebuttal with, you know…FACTS.

:D

LOL…for a “rabid-right conservative” that (in bold) is tantamont to being a hugely freedom-snatching LAW emposed by a bloated, socialistic, nanny govt. Ya know, like the difference betwee GUN REGULATIONS and outright BANNING of them.

How about you cut the crap and just accept my gift. ALEC is a conglomeration of corporations and organizations that are making laws at the state level. Research it. I handed you this information that is not, it seems, common knowledge.

http://www.alec.org/

Taken from the source of this page:

Q: What is the American Legislative Exchange Council?

A: The American Legislative Exchange Council (ALEC) is a 501©(3) non-profit organization. It provides a constructive forum for state legislators and private sector leaders to discuss and exchange practical, state-level public policy issues. The potential solutions discussed at ALEC focus on free markets, limited government and constitutional division of powers between the federal and state governments. The organization respects diversity of thought; it is a non-partisan resource for its members, which include more than 2,000 Republican and Democratic state legislators.

Q: What does ALEC do and on what issues?

A: ALEC is a think-tank for state-based public policy issues and potential solutions. It publishes research and writing on issues that are of importance to its members. It holds meetings where people from public and private sectors share their views. It also develops model bills and resolutions on economic issues. These materials can be helpful resources for state legislators who have an interest in free markets, limited government and constitutional division of powers between the federal and state governments. ALEC serves solely as a resource for its members; it does not lobby state legislatures.

So much for that Jhco-lie anyway.

Ya know, his latest foray into the “jungle-0-junk” supportive links causes me to wonder: Does he just Google _Conservative Fanatic Facts of Fantasy and pick from the Laundry-List-0-Lunacy.

Small wonder he finds a need to whine about how we don’t find much merit in the links he provides. Maybe he’ll finally do what he threatens and cease to post them…giving us only his opinions of all-things-RIGHT-winger-humdingers.

I hope that Obama wins.

He is cooler than Romney and therefor a better president.

That was pretty hateful of you Vika. I thought you came back to discuss different topics, but I guess I was wrong.

Good, that’s a fine “first step” for solving the problem.
Let’s build on that.

I’m fine with discussing. I’m not fine with someone who deliberately and maliciously twists the truth and makes up vicious lies just to try and trigger a sensationalist reaction Jhco. To paraphrase softest: you keep doing it, and I will keep pointing it out

there is absolutely no need for it. Even worse, you consistently link to sources that disagree with you; you just have not bothered to acually read them.

Just saw a new Romney+Ryan commercial.
Loved it.
I just couldn’t stop laughing.

“His plans are what this country really needs.”
Don’t people remember last year?
Or the years before?
Presidents lie to get elected, they make promises, they say all these things that they know will never happen.

Yet people actually believe them without questioning it.
Disgusting.

Picket in support of the draft during the Vietnam war.
/scumbag Mitt Romney
Dodge the draft with a mission trip to France.

Jhco –

If you notice, Obama isn’t running on his economic policies.
I’ve also noticed that Romney isn’t running on any policies, just rhetoric. How many policies has Romney actually presented to the American people? It does appeat that he’s still swaying in the wind waiting to see what will get him the most votes.
His tax plan sounds like a continuation of the rich being pampered at the expense of everyone else.

Maybe he just changes his perspective/opinion as he gets new information. Adaptability is good.

If wish to believe that is what Romney is doing, that’s fine. But there is a difference between adapting and contradicting what you’ve said a year ago to get votes now. I am a lot more cynical about Romney’s motives for his ‘adaptability’.

I found this video at the National Press meeting quite interesting.

Again, Obama is not a Marxist or a communist or a Leninist or whatever you’ll be claiming next. Proof? Wall Street EXISTS. There is still a capitalist and upper social class. In a communist society everyone is socially and ECONOMICALLY equal. Is that the United States now? No. Poor people still exist, as do rich—something inconceivable in a communist society.

Communism just became instantly more appealing.

Unless you’re part of the Communist government, in which case you have a lavish lifestyle while the rest of the citizenry suffers. That sounds fantastic!

No. Poor people still exist, as do rich—something inconceivable in a communist society.

So if everyone can’t be rich, we should therefore make everyone poor….. still missing how that sounds like a good idea.

lol. You know, there’s still a lot of good things you can say about marxism, socialism, or even communitarianism. But communism? I think the Soviets, Cuba, and China have amply proved what a terrible idea that was.

Flag Post

I don’t believe communism can work either. I am simply stating that Obama is in no way a communist. He loves capitalism and the plutocracy.

hmm? oh, yeah. Didn’t understand what you meant. Yeah, he’s as much a communist as he is a muslim – less so, really.
