Why not just go a step further and make a general media forum?

Hey, all. Just wanted to let you know that after some discussion, we’ve decided that Kongregate will not be adding a MLP forum.

Apart from the long-standing traditions of OT and SD, Kongregate has pretty consistently stuck to only including forums that relate to games or making games (including art and music, as those are important aspects of game-making). If we have a forum for MLP, then dozens of special-interest subgroups will want forums; they will have schisms resulting in more even forums, and so on.
