While I agree that some locked threads should be linked (such as the old debate thread that’s still hanging around from the Off Topic forum that lead to the Serious Discussion forum), Vanguarde’s gas thread is not one of them. It was a protest, not a serious discussion (seeing as there was no discussion, merely a link to something that had the answers he was looking for), and has no place in this directory.

I linked to a locked thread.

It is obviously a different case as it contains a multitude of links and is relevant to the topic.
