I ‘nothing’ Obama.

From my position in the UK, absolutely nothing of note in my life has changed because of his election. I’d struggle to find anything not of note, as well. So, there’s nothing to like or dislike.

A. A country’s stability is more important than a dog.
B. He has made several “big calls” already.
C. It was passed in the House already.

Obama… has my deepest pity… From what I have noticed NO ONE seems to get that if he screws up, in any way shape or form… He alone would ruin it for all non-Caucasian peoples. If he does ANYTHING that might be “unacceptable” it will be used to potential make it so a white man can only hold a position/office of power… And it doesn’t matter what he does… Obama picking his nose in public could be enough do put political damnation on all minorities. We all know how political mud slinging is… or at least I hope so… as it is he ACHIEVED the impossible. But lets face it "Well, you are the second BLACK person to run for presidential office… Lets “hope” you don’t screw up like the first one did"… these words (well, not these words exactly… but probably similar) will haunt debate podiums for generations to come.

And I will admit… so far he has been a little “weak sauce”, but I already stated my opinion. In summery the best Obama can hope to do is pave the way for someone who doesn’t have the whole future of many peoples (even women) crushing down on them. And I will say with honesty… If you don’t support Obama, at least enough to not ride his ass over something you have COULDN’T BEGIN TO UNDERSTAND, then you don’t support change… which lets face… if you bash Obama regularly, then you probably don’t anyway… Further more, how about more Bush? If that appeals to you in a positive way, or if you are one of those wastes of flesh that said that you voted for him because “He seems like a guy you could drink a beer with”… then go get one of your many guns, put it in your mouth, and try and find the trigger if you can… and pull it. (I mean no offense by my previous statement… HA)

Well, I perhaps cannot judge fairly seeing as I am not American and have not been affected by his policies, but so far, mixed emotions. I know that his brilliance in his speeches is a throwback to a bygone era, but he is in danger of becoming a bit of a windbag – all bark and no bite. So far he has not been too bad on this front; he stressed the importance of climate change, and he has sped up the process of applying fuel standards for new cars and restricted oil drilling in the USA, but this will fade into the background if he doesn’t show up for the Copenhagen climate summit. I think it is important to be there, as it just makes the whole cause of trying to rectify global warming seem insignificant if the leader of the most powerful country in the world doesn’t seem to be interested. It looks like he will turn up though, so if this is the case, that is not an issue.
Like I said, I cannot really judge, but he seems to be doing a decent job overall, although he really does need to make some important decisions after the Copenhagen summit.

I agree with AgentBlueSky. Obama is having a really hard time and so many people are against him and at least 80% of them are doing it because he’s black. Well I’m sure half the people talking about Obama on the internet don’t know the first thing about politics in any way. Parents pollute their children’s minds with things and then the kids go on to the internet totally 100% towards something that they have no clue about. If you’re a kid that I just described, really stop talking about it or really go research things. I, for one think Obama is great. He’s a good president. I’m so damn sick of people expecting Obama to be like friggin god and being able to do anything. The country is in a bad state and it was before Obama was president. I mean, he passed the health care bill. But apparently people just got pissed about it. So what do you want him to do? Use his magical powers of happiness and rainbows to make everything wonderful and peaceful? This is life. Life is hard. So stop blaming everything wrong in the world on Obama. Hopefully this post I have made will actually make some of these “bozos” think.
