Well, would the US government really be willing to sacrifice two of the US’s most famous buildings just for whatever goal they had in mind? Or what else are you getting at?

why didn’t they build the two towers back to pretty much how they were before

911 was planned out by terrorists, its not only the government that can think of the 911 call anyway, terrorists know that too.

I know Bush is dumb, but do you expect me to believe, that he would blow up, two freaking towers which costs millions, along with thousands of people?

Small point, but even if it was the government that committed 9/11, it was still terrorists.

i think it was planned by terrorists and at some level enabled by the government. now id like to hear the argument that unknown civilians on a plane would have been at a disadvantage to terrorists with box cutters

The building was going to have to been removed. It contained a cancer causing material which would cost billions to remove. They also changed their insurance to cover terrorist attacks about 2 weeks before 9/11. They got about 6-13 billion from their insurance. But don’t worry, I was going to do the same thing a week later.

Now whether the Government knew about it and let them do it or was actually involved is the question

Besides, those building could be rebuilt, the owner got insurance in case of terrorist attacks before the attacks. It cost about 1/2 a billion. Now the Iraq war cost 600 billion and someone is sure as hell profiting of that, whether it be the overpricing of arms by US weapons manufacturers, the mercenaries, the hired contractors to fix up the mess we made, or the various corporations that benefited from a new government in Iraq.
