It depends on what the virus is like. Mostly how long it takes to turn and how infectious it is, how strong are the zombies, fast, how much force it takes to bring them down, how long is their life span, and if you can infect people before turning. What I predict a real zombie would be like, is human rabies. They would be fast, strong, and vicious. They can die like a regular human, but any kind of pain won’t slow them down in any way, shape, or form. It would take about an hour to turn, although it varies depending on the person. They would be incredibly infectious. It travels through the air, touch, and any kind of liquid from the zombie (STI XD). My prediction is, the virus wouldn’t thrive at the start. There would be occasional attacking. Until the water supply was infected. As soon as that happens, it’ll be total anarchy. Riots, looting, genocide, suicide, the works. In about 20 years, humanity would be reduced to the stone age. In 60 years, the world would be a wasteland. Also a big factor would be if animals are affected. Zombie birds and squirrels, especially small flying insects, would be a way bigger problem then infected humans. One bite, you’re dead. Also, the government would abandon its people and leave them for dead before the rioting brings them down.

Guys inside turn freaky. 60 police officers barge in. All zombie escape and infect 90% of the attacking police force. ZOMBIE ATTACK! It’s unlikey at the MOMENT, but maybe in like 10 years time, it may well be that something like this may happen.

The governments job (lvl 20 access) is to make the population feel safe and secure, so they cause as little a problem as possible. The real government (lvl 100 access) will be the one doing the experiments. They could be doing it right now, in those secret desert bases. It’s only a matter of time before the government slips up with one of those plague jars and BOOM!! Apocalypse.

is it possible for a strain of rabies to mutate to infect faster and become more violent?
i would probably panic to tell the truth but if i stayed sane i think i’d try to make it near the sea maybe an island…i doubt zombies would swim well and near forests. i would bring my fishing rod, gear and bait, and a wok to cook the fish. i could fish in the sea and try to set traps in the forest. i’d try to boil seawater for water.i’d bring my bow for a weapon and anything else i could use i spose.obviously i’d want to bring my family and friends but if i couldn’t i’d probably bring my dog for company and to warn me if zombies were coming soo….yeah.

a hotel of some kind. I would destroy the bottom two flights of stairs and make a barricade at the doors at the entrance to the hotel and at the top of the second flight of stairs. That should be sufficeint defense in the early stages of the zombie apocalypse.
Where would you get your supplies?
I would run a cold bath in every hotel room so i have plenty of uncontaminated water before there is no more water supply. This is assuming people at water companies get infected and their infected selves don’t try and continue to run the water company. I would also salvage any food the hotel had and place it on the top floor away from any harms way. At the begginning of the apocalypse i will have to do some quick rades at shops for additional supplies.
What weapons would you use?
I don’t have much access to projectile weapons however i have many cricket bats, JML knives and other melee weapons. If i do get access to a gun i would like a semi automatic rifle. After all i don’t want to waste ammo.
Who would you go with?
I would like to say no one but probably my family and closest friends because i don’t like manual labour and they could make the barricades. Really i would like to be with as few people as possible and i wouldn’t be afraid to shoot them if they got infected.
What would you eat?
Canned and tinned things would be good. Anything with a good shelf life.

Yes, but many people idea of a safe escape is **through forest** , zombies following their scent, creating a **new horde**. There’s also the small zombie animals. Squirrels, rabbits, crows, etc.

The apocalypse would be really starting up as soon as the water supply is infected. 2 thirds of the population would be infected before they even had a chance to realize.

Where would you go?
I’d stay in my house for a few weeks, and then goto the mall and kill the remaining zombies there.I would stay on the top floor and cover stairs and esciladers in traps and baricades.
Where would you get your suplies?
I would get my suplies from the mall, where else. I’m in the mall already.
What weapons would you use?
I would use an atomatic shotgun, a katana, and a 10 foot spear. The 10 foot spear could be made of material salvaged in the mall. I could baricade myself in a store with a smal opening I could use to stab zombies through.
Who would you go with?
Obviously my family, and any unbitten and trustworthy survivors we find (as long as they have weaponry. Without it they are useless as on the trip to the mall i’d have few weapons)
What would you eat?
Anything in the mall thats edible. There would be plenty frozen fast food I could cook in the day when there are fewest zombies and eat.
To anybody who says or thinks a military base is where you should go, its not. If there is one nearby then yes, but its likely there isn’t or its far away. If you search for a military base, therefore, you’d most likely die.

I’ve just worked out another plan.
I live in a village. And that village has a close knit sort of community. also, it has plenty of farmland. (fields etc.)
The way the village is laid out is helpful during zombie invasion. There is only one main road, with various turns into the many closes/estates/streets/whatever. That road is the only way into the village. So, if I got all the people living there together to fortify both ends of the road leading into the village, the zombies wouldn’t get in. When the apocalypse fully begins, I will go to the village post office. There are food items like ice cream, sweets and chocolate, cereal and eggs, along with certain ~~RIP OFF~~ rather expensive meat products, and milk to drink, along with batteries, tape and comic books. (The paper may be helpful in ways we don’t realise.) There is also a section selling farm themed toys at the back of the shop. Could make useful make shift weapons later on. I would loot that place first.
Then, after doing the whole big village barricading idea, I would utilise the fields close by. There are a few, most of them only accessible to the zombies by crossing a river or crossing a railway bridge. Anyway, I would probably get a group of brave volunteers to go to the nearby town, to the B&Q store. It is a store that does D.I.Y and gardening things. If all goes well, they should be able to get in to the gardening sections to get garden tools, watering cans and food seeds. I would supply them with brooms with knives tape on to the end for their mission. After they return, we could set up a sustainable food source in the nearest field. (the field that has the river on one side and the railway on the other, probably.) And we would collect rain water in buckets.
My weapons of choice that I could get my hands on would be a garden hoe with a knife stuck on the none handle end and an axe with a hammer taped to it, (Kind of a weapon with a blunt thing that kills things at one end and a sharp thing that kills things and the other end, that could be held in the middle.)
Also I have devised a strange defence system should the zombies get in. The village shop which I mentioned has the toy section, which has toy tractors. If I can get his entire stock of toy tractors, I could tape them all together and leave the strange many wheeled platform result on the roof of someone’s house. I would then put lots of rocks, out of date food and toys from the shop farm toy section on it. When a load of zombies walk by that house, the platform would be pushed off the roof, causing death below.
People I would have with me… hmm… probably family. (If they could all make it. We are sort of spread apart.) Definitely my mum and dad. Also, some friends from the nearby other village of Calthwaite.
TA-DA. Master zombie survival plan.

There is tons of food there, but alot of others will have the same idea. If you get there late, there might not be much left. And where the hell would you get an SMG and grenades from??? That is nearly impossible, unless you live in San Andreas or Liberty City, which you don’t. Also, you say everyone that are not infected, isn’t that a little risky? They could have something else like swine flu that would spread among your “everyone not infected”.

Motorway/Highway= death by car
Railway= Death by train.
River= Can zombies swim?
They could get in certain fields though, now that I think about it. Thanks for the tip.
