What's your opinion on Furries

If you know what they are then post your thoughts or feelings about them. For example: Do you think they are innapropriate, disgusting, cool, embarrasing, attracting ect…(Its okay if you want to post your actual feelings, no one is going to make fun of you[well i wont])

Is this self-validation?

As long as I don’t get jumped by a guy in a fursuit tomorrow, furries will remain in the category of ‘I have no opinion of them, having never met any’.

I don’t care if they are furries, as long as they don’t try to make me a furry or call me inadequate because I am not a furry.

I am severely annoyed by furries, but I don’t think they’re doing anything wrong or harmful.

The only problem I have with furries is they tend to be terrible posters.

There is a distinction between furries and furry or yiff(y) porn. Furries are people obsessed to a certain degree with one or more aspects of “furry culture”. Such a person does not necessarily have any interest or even acceptance of “yiff porn”.

Personally, I am far, FAR more accepting of the porn then I am of the people who practice most of the other elements of the culture. For the most part, “furries” come of as annoying, whiny, ridiculous, and or self righteous. This is for the most part the only way one becomes familiar with “furries”, is because one is either complaining about “fursecution”, or doing something they have no business doing where anyone not participating can ever find out (ie. not in the privacy of their own homes and special gatherings). I hold no grudge against those who enjoy the activities so long as they do neither of those two.

These “Furry” threads should be consolidated… Then dragged out into the street and shot.

What is a furry?

Furries are people who somehow associate a part of their personalities with the characteristics or traits of animals. Some people were born the wrong sex, other people were born the wrong species.

Furries can marry other furries already, I fail to see the problem.

Obviously, they’d never be able to do something like marry animals, because animals cannot consent, while homosexuals can. The two are unrelated. But I’m sure that you weren’t talking about that, because that would be a stupid thing to say, wouldn’t it?

Personally I think that people who oppose gay/furry/any other ‘freak’ marriage should be neutered on first offense, banned human rights on second offense and shot on the third, but I respect their rights.

I would consider my self anti-furry.

Furries are no problem for me. I’m into the art but not the lifestyle. As long as I don’t get jumped and furiously humped by some dude in a Fursuit I’m fine with them.
