gay marriage is a tax issue, the whole reason behind giving married couples a tax break was to encourage marriage and hence childbirth which would give more work force to pay taxes, hence more money in the long run, so the only way i could see allowing homosexual couples to marry is if they either have kids of their own in lesbian couples, or adopt atleast 2 kids in gay couples.
Then you’d be a hypocrite if you didn’t support fertility tests before marriage.

So, we are left with a number of options:
1) We can get rid of marriage for everyone, hence stopping it from being a tax issue. That’ll mean that no one can get married, but no one is expected to have children
2) We could have a 1 or 2 child policy, but no restriction on adoptions, hence solving the foster care children issue.
3) If we don’t consider it an issue, then all married couples must be expected to have at least children, naturally or through adoption.
4) (My personal favourite) We just let everyone get married, whether they are gay or not, to each other regardless of sex. Then America is on the next step to at least pretending that it can respect all people of all sexualities, colours, ideologies, etc. It took centuries for minorities to gain a reasonable try at equal rights, though, so I’m not holding my breath.

did i say anything in my statement about being anti-gay, infact, my statement would be more pro-gay than anything, if anything, where i say “so the only way i could see” is where you are confused, i was saying, by that standard the only way, not i hate gays, and they shouldn’t be married. sorry for any confusion in using complex sentences.

i could go further and get to a contradiction again, but i think this is sufficient.

If that was sarcasm then I applaud you….other wise your an idiot…. Prop 8 was something i never really gave a damn about. I mean, if you are gay and that is the life you chose then go ahead and fight for your rights. I just find it hilarious how some people act like the media wasnt going to jump on this.
