What tools do you use to keep track of your upcoming game ideas, characters, game mechanics, etc.? It happens to me, that have many ideas floating on my head, and many times they’re not finished ideas, so I don’t even know how to write them down so that I dont forget them and can work on them in the future…

Generally for me: Any text editor on computer will help. If you do it on paper, you can complement your text with hand-drawn diagrams (if you can draw)
I don’t know if it’s worth it to make an “idea bin” even for short, bad ideas.

For my last game LaserTD: I got a few pieces of paper and drew everything about it, including interface and enemy design. I lost that paper because my drawer is a black hole.
