It’s time, im a lvl 20 player from some years. A senior i think... and Winter pact player from the start. Today my deck has been destroyed. Ive seen Winter going from a competitive pact to the stripped laughing stock it is now. No power to kill, no power to stop swarm, no power to stop magic. Why the pact is left in the game is beyond me. I read all the talk about meta and data, fine but when i play and see al the last cards which actually were the last straws of Winter get stripped of what made them usefull i give up... I dare everyone to make a well balanced Winter deck without a bunch of obvious neutral cards. And even then you do not stand a chance against a mediocre Swarm or Shadowfen deck. Not by a mile. The only strong cards left in Winter do not even get played due to the expensive mana... Sadly... im out

Agreed, what a joke. Thanks for ruining the game for anyone who enjoys this deck. You could have had a great game but you progressively made it worse and worse to now unsustainable. You’ve finally sucked out what little fun remained, congrats.

Agreed, was winter really that far ahead of every other faction?? Hardly. Swarm decks annoy the hell out of me, so I had a winter anti-swarm deck but now there is no winter deck that can counter swarm. The only winter card that now gets a place in my winter deck is rimelings. What a joke. They had better fix this fast or lose a lot of players.

Yuuuuuuup That's because elders are a thing now. Winter has strongest (and most) single unit huge strength buffs which works surprisingly well with elders who are strong on their own, even without strength buffs.

I've never been a strong winter player, (mostly swarm/pirates and ironclad) but i do agree that winter was nerfed a little too hard. I'm assuming that they'll buff winter back up a little in the next update, so please don't give up hope. I'm having some fun with winter freeze decks using zvhena, frost hexers and other freeze cards (can't think of the names). I know you might not be used to it, hut it can be fun.. as others have suggested, maybe try mixing it up a little? I remember when GOTW used to give cards as well as mana, and when that ended, everyone said it was useless.. food for thought, good luck guys.

That's a **BIG PLUS ONE** from me... Honestly, I'm not even a little bit sad if you've actually relied only on winterpact to win and didn't even try to learn other aspects of the game. Even if you didn't, as stated above, if you just don't enjoy the game enough, leave it. It's. That. Simple.

PlacekMajestatu and Azazel are right. One-faction-only players don't have a place in Stormbound.

Ahhh I don't think they mean what you are interpreting... First all if you only play one faction in the game, that your choice. The game doesn't stop or shame one for only playing one faction. Yeah, mostly I'm just laughing at these people who have to write goodbye letters over a Nerf. I've stopped playing this game on and off for a year and a half, and hardly even bother to do Quests or Coin limit. I just put the Game down and do play on the 28th-30th of every month to hit D5, and chill again. Wtf people need to drop the game and bitch about a small injustice. If Winter continues to suck, they'll buff some stuff.

My message was simple: either switch fractions or just leave the game without showing everyone how disappointed you are. It's just a surprise for me that someone refuses to switch fractions if he thinks his fraction is bad. Learning other fractions allows you to switch, do fraction specific quests and understand other players who play these fractions so you can try to counter them. **Again, nothing winterpact specific** To be honest, I strongly believe execution buff was enough for frozen core and it shouldn't be nerf **THAT** hard. It's really bad now

This is my 130th post. Even if this was my 5th I would have the right to voice my opinion and sheepyard could ignore it. Voicing the sadness of leaving is an honest thing. Not a way of pressuring anyhow. I never made any critic in play store but for stormbound. 5 stars. Not going to take them away. I'm a free to play player. As a free to play player this hits me as my deck was developed, at a given time, focusing on a specific faction. I was relying on winter. I can't stand on other decks as well as with winter. I enjoy playing other faction's but I have invested in winter at a moment, when all I could do with my nerfed dragons was loosing. I needed the Mana. As a free to play player I have even less voice than you. Useless and better leave players like me, who are restricted to a single faction are really worthless, I understand that. I had my fun though and put up a fight to some of you 20 strength players since I was 16. I am now 18. I've been slowly getting other cards,I have no elders at all, but still can only stand with winter's Mana or the annoying swarm deck that gives me no pleasure at all. I love loosing to some of you guys, I love having just a slim chance. I love it when that chance makes me win. I'm not pointing my fingers at anyone. I'm only saying I've enjoyed it while it lasted. Nerfing winter like this took the fun out of my game. I don't understand the idea. I talked about it before it happened. When I got my frozen core at 8str I made one of my first posts here asking for execution at 8 too. If problems are elders, solve elders. No need to dump a whole faction. I will keep an eye out for a new update. Maybe try to go to D5... To you guys that don't think like this, that have a lot of options and can shift faction easily: why do you have so much need to state that we are worthless and can leave? Are you proud of that? It's not emotional. It's a fact that this is disappointing and more to for some people that have invested in the game in a certain direction. I have played everyday for a year or more and stopped because of this. So I understand others. I will wait for the update, but I lost the will now, that I didn't loose when dragons were nerfed too much. I didn't feel hate in your words either. You seem very balanced in what you say. I'm holding the game for now. It's a good thing not playing it that much too. Maybe I'm thankful after all. It was too many hours in my life
