I make a new deck each season starting from 3-4 low level cards in my collection. This foundation must have a cool synergy and then I add the rest of the cards just to fill the gaps.
I think about playing stormbound as playing sudoku. I solve some riddles and this gives me more fun then just winning alone.
Obviously, ones you solve all the challenges like how to deal with current meta on the way to d1, the deck gets boring. But not the process itself, so I rinse and repeat.

I didn't quit after all, after the nerf to winter. I'm trying to do what xdixd is doing. The thing is that before I was getting pleasure to fine tune a single deck that would beat the widest range of decks I could, and now I have very unbalanced decks that with luck go through but often not.
I have too much weak cards

DrBomAmor, give it a chance until July 31st when "a small tweak" has been promised, probably referring to the Winter nerf.
"We're more than happy to hear your opinion about each of our changes in the first update. We'll send some of you a few rubies for your effort.
On 31-07, we'll post results and push a little balance tweak, that'll be based on your constructive feedback.
Thank you,
Sheepyard Team"

Thanks for the info The Mirc.
I have contributed to that survey... twice. That was what made me not quit immediately. Then I thought that I might as well get some daily coin, hoping they would revert it.
I've been experimenting, but I lost something... Some joy from the game.

IMO quite normal since adaptation means learning and after several month of easy riding it takes some times to dig in and find the cards “you” really want to play. Winning is not everything it’s more about kicking of combos and unexpected moves.

Guys, check the Stormbound social media channels such as the Facebook/Instagram/Twitter in about an hour.
They'll reveal the small tweaks and new card specs.

Same boat, almost 3years of play, and don't really feel the need to reach D1 so I settle for Diamond5 and call it a month.
I don't really mind missing out on 1 extra leg. The problem for me is bothering to do Quests.
