**--(How to Get To Level 100 in 42 Days or Less FREE - The Comprehensive F2P EXP Guide)--**
Hi everyone!
Donovus here. I've been playing Bit Heroes for about two weeks now and I'm very impressed by the game's structure. It's simple and intuitive - It's no wonder many people are hooked on the game.
While playing it with the fiancée, we could not help but notice that there are some players who were very high in level - Still, some of these players profess to be purely F2P (free-to-play). As such, this question was raised:
>**How long would it take for us to hit Level 100 without spending any real-life money?**
***Edit***: Guys, I know that there are also kreds and offers and what-not - I'm not even going into the specifics of that. That's for another guide.
After some simple calculations, I'm going to throw this statement here:
># You can reach Level 100 in under 6 weeks without having to spend money on gems/energy/tokens/shards.
.
The conditions to do this are if you:
* Log in for an hour, every 8 hours, three times a day.
* Always have a Minor Experience Tome on you at all times.
* Grind Z1D3 Heroic Dungeon and Level 10 Gauntlet up to Level 60.
* Grind R1 Heroic additionally from Level 60 onwards.
*Every other calculation is ignored in this guide, so you can do this in a much lesser time.
Before we start though, I thought I should address the elephant in the room. Click-bait title aside, I know that this is definitely going to be a controversial guide -* There are so many contributing factors - and there is definitely going to be some discrepancy grahhhh!*
However, I'll like to say that this is a ~~shot in the dark~~ ~~refined~~ very rough estimate of how quickly the average player in the charts could progress, and they could use this as an informed source of reference as they enjoy this game.
**Edit: After getting quite a few messages, I have to say this: I'm setting this guide here as a rough mathematical proof that it's possible to get Level 100 as a F2P player in 42 days. I totally understand that it can be done in smaller timeframe, but I'll have to leave that proof to another able-bodied person to do.**
___________________________________
**DISCLAIMER TIME!**
* As there are many factors that informs a player's style and commitment of play, I would fairly say that this guide is merely an informed estimation of how quickly a person could hit Level 100. **The EXP estimates here hover around 450k while actual EXP gains are around 600k - 800k. To that, I am erring on the side of gross under-estimation - This means that the numbers show the slowest that a person could hit Level 100 under these conditions**. Every other limitation, which will be discussed below, should be covered as of time of writing.
.
* I would say that the margin of error in this guide is ~~small~~ ~~+/- 10%~~ HUGE. After speaking to a few people, it dawned upon me that **bonuses were additive, then multiplied by heroic bonus**. This throws the calculations off by quite a lot since monsters vary in dungeons, resulting in varying base EXP for dungeons. Gobby and Olxa do not make the calculations easier, too. **As such, I have to say that exact numbers are grossly under-estimated. Actual EXP gains could be much, much higher.** TL;DR mymathisbaddontcrucifymepls
.
* With all these said, I understand that it is actually possible to be fully F2P and hit Level 100 more quickly than the proposed time of 42 days - **These calculations are simply to help inform newer players that it's actually possible to hit level 100 with a level of playing consistency.**
.
* This is not exactly a beginner's guide - I'll be using terms here that the local Bit Heroes community usually uses - I'd recommend reading up some of the guides at https://tinyurl.com/BHGuides before delving into this. I will have tl;dr (too long;didn't read) moments in this guide where there will be take-aways - hope that helps!
.
* Bit Heroes has gotten me hooked and I appreciate the devs for their hard work and effort in building the game. Please support them if you can through these micro-transactions. This guide is in no shape or form promoting or condoning any HERPDERPDONTSUPPORTGAMEDEVSYOUSATAN.
.
* This guide is purely on EXP and nothing else. It does not account for familiars, items or anything else - Just straightforward balls-in-hand grinding.
.
* I have been told that my writing style is slightly more academic in nature. Due to the nature of this guide, there is going to be **A LOT** of numbers and charts. There is also going to be long walls of text where I try to explain this giant mess of numbers while trying to make sense of it. I apologise for that in advance - and please let me know in Discord (Donovan#3219) if there are areas where I could make the information more digestible.

**LIMITATIONS OF THIS ~~STUDY~~ GUIDE**
In a bid to make calculations easier, the following are not considered:
1. **Are You Not Entertained: Trials Not Included**
This guide does not include information on Trials, which differs in EXP slightly. I wrote this on a Gauntlet week.
.
2. **I'm Broke: PVP Coins Not Calculated**
This guide does not account for PVP coins, since there is insufficient information on PVP coins so far. These coins could be used to exchange for more energy, which could help accelerate experience gain.
.
3. **#AdRevenuePlz: Video Rewards Not Calculated**
Video rewards are randomised - so that additional Raid Shard/4 energy could be insanely helpful in helping you gain experience.
.
4. **Calculated 120 Energy-Cap**
For simplicity's sake, the benchmark of 120 energy is set in the cycle calculations - Level 61 and higher have a energy-cap of 160 energy, which are four dungeon runs, and that makes your EXP gain even faster. Again, I'm erring on the side of under-estimation - A hard-core F2P player could get level 100 far, far before 42 days.
.
5. **ERROR: 404 Runes Not Found**
This guide does not account for runes due to the RNG of getting them. As such, if you could get the two common +5% runes while grinding, that would make your EXP run even faster.
.
6. **May The Luck Be With You: RNG Factors**
While discussing on Discord, Borealis brought up a point that it's truly RNG that throws you past Z3D3 and into R1 - I put a cut-off point of Level 60 where raid EXP comes in because that's where the usual player hits R1. With that said, you could luck out, hit level 45 with 280TS early on and get massive EXP right off the bat.
.
7. **I Know What I'm Doing: Not Failing Dungeons**
This guide considers that you do not fail any attempt in your dungeons or flags. Still, this would almost be negligible since the other factors would probably cover up this EXP loss.
.
8. **I'm Making Progress: Flags and Non-Heroic Dungeon Runs Not Considered**
Again, it's for simplicity's sake that these are not included. It would be fair to state that the EXP difference would be negated by the other limiting factors.
.
9. **Hurrdurr You Can't Do math: Heroic Dungeon Bonuses Not Considered**
Edit: I wanted to re-write the guide after speaking with some of the Bit Heroes experts in the community, but some of them mentioned for me to simply write this as a limitation and expand on this in later posts. In this guide, I merely counted the Heroic Dungeon Bonus as a base, when in fact the bonus is multiplicative after adding in the other EXP bonuses. As such, I will not be considering Heroic Dungeon Bonuses in this guide, hence the large discrepancy in EXP.

Alright, now that's out of the way, let's begin!
.

> **EXP COMMANDMENTS**
These things are the key take-aways from the entire guide if you don't have time to read through everything. Follow these general rules of thumb and you will be fine.
.
* > **1. Thou shalt believe that you can reach Level 100 in under 42 days.**
It is now mathematically proven - albeit badly estimated, that a player can hit Level 100 in less than 42 days if he/she plays 3 times a day, one hour each time. No more of those "I HIT LEVEL 100 IN THIS NUMBER OF DAYS" and having people ask whether you "paid".
* >**2. Thou shalt always have a Minor Experience Tome on at all times.**
The additional 25% EXP gain is not simply 25%. It's explained at the end of the guide.
* > **3. Thou shalt always check your game every 8 hours for maximum efficiency.**
Anything more and you risk losing out on sweet, sweet EXP.
* > **4. Thou shalt strive to get to Raids as quickly as possible.**
Your EXP gain almost doubles once you reach Raids. Of course, that's not to say that you spend every bleeding energy trying to spook the skeleton archers at Z3F8. You'll naturally get through once you hit 250-280 total stats (TS).
* > **5. Thou shalt do only Heroic Dungeons.**
That's the one with 30 energy. The reason is because it has a heroic bonus. That heroic bonus *multiplies* with your other bonuses, which are only additive.
* > **6. Thou shalt attempt a higher-level gauntlet/trial when you feel too comfortable at your current trial/gauntlet.**
That slight additional EXP really does add up. Just don't be too greedy, or else you will have an incomplete run and lose out. A 10/10 Level 10 run is better than a 1/10 Level 20 run.
* > **7. Thou shalt not to miss any EXP cycles on Wednesdays.**
Seriously, the EXP gain on that day is incredible. The additional bonus 50% is not simply 50%. I know I sound like a broken record, but the EXP gain on that day is really incredible. Similarly, being around for 25%/30% EXP bonus on the other days really help you by a mile. Again, the 25% in this case isn't just 25% when multiplied by heroic bonuses.
* > **8. Thou shalt use PVP coins to exchange for Energy Potions.**
Spam these potions only on Wednesdays.
* > **9. Thou shalt get EXP runes as quickly as possible.**
You gain these colourful crystal bits when you are rewarded at the end of every PVP/Trial/Gauntlet weekly event. Use these bits and exchange them for two of those precious +5% EXP runes. Together, they give you +10% EXP. You can exchange them in the 'Crafting' tab.
* > **10. Thou shalt always join a guild and exchange guild points for energy potions.**
A guild at Level 40 one unlocks energy potions which you can exchange your guild points for. Use these energy potions only on Wednesday.
* > **BONUS. Thou shalt use gems to exchange for Raid Shards for extra EXP**
Though I wouldn't recommend it, you can also use the gems you save up from runs to exchange for Raid Shards if you really, really need the additional EXP. You can exchange them in the crafting tab. 200 gems get you 5 shards - that additional shard changes lives. The gems are probably better for bribing legendary familiars when you see them, though.
In the name of RNGesus, praise be to his name, please forgive me for all the gains I am about to receive. Amen.

**WHAT IS A CYCLE?**
An EXP cycle is when you exhaust all your fully-charged energy, tokens, shards and tickets.
[![https://gyazo.com/613c4930123fa0d05646b53ae15b8d53](https://i.gyazo.com/613c4930123fa0d05646b53ae15b8d53.png)](https://gyazo.com/613c4930123fa0d05646b53ae15b8d53)
According to EXP charts provided by smiiley and Blasian, we have a base EXP gain of **15,000 EXP** without raids, and almost **28,000 EXP** from each cycle.
**Edit: **Please note that these are merely estimates taken from quantitative information. I'm posting Blasian's charts here so we can also see the base EXP of these runs.
[![https://gyazo.com/b0020db1f15bcfd52293f02cd3c45fb7](https://i.gyazo.com/b0020db1f15bcfd52293f02cd3c45fb7.png)](https://gyazo.com/b0020db1f15bcfd52293f02cd3c45fb7)
Erring on the side of under-estimation, I took the EXP charts of the dungeons that most players can attempt. I know, gauntlets are not unlocked until a certain level, but these should be a fair estimate:
* Dungeon: Z1D3 Heroic (Git some friends, skrub)
* Gauntlet: Level 10 (Writing this on a Gauntlet week #goaway)
* Raid 1: Because R2 Heroic is nigh impossible for now
* PVP: Similar EXP throughout
The reason the chart presents both without-raid and with-raid numbers are due to the fact that:
> **Your base EXP gain per cycle almost doubles after you unlock Raid 1(R1). Hence, it's important for you to get to R1 ASAP.**
**Edit**: There is also talk that it's possible to gain higher amounts of EXP if you attempt a higher Trial/Gauntlet level. After a simple check, I would say that the difference is quite negligible. It's still worth it to go for a higher Trial/Gauntlet level for those sweet items, though.

**HOW LONG DOES A CYCLE TAKE?**
One would usually think that a cycle would take quite a while - After all, I have to spend **everything** in one shot, right? Not really, since you could actually just spend about ten minutes while getting ready for the day and not have to worry about wasting precious cooldown timers.
Still, I thought it might be useful making a chart to calculate how much time you would need to play for each cycle.
[![https://gyazo.com/6b9d594f604ad5b381c49dc881dc341d](https://i.gyazo.com/6b9d594f604ad5b381c49dc881dc341d.png)](https://gyazo.com/6b9d594f604ad5b381c49dc881dc341d)
Of course, this is not including the time you spend on Kongchat, Discord or even speaking with guild members, but it should give a rough idea what kind of commitment the game requires from you. Granted, some would go for five, or even six dungeon runs - So I'll leave that for you to figure out. ;)
From this, it is a safe estimate to say that:
> You need about **30 minutes** per cycle without raids, and about **an hour** if your cycle includes raids.
After compiling this list, I even took the liberty of calculating EXP/time, and I also found out that:
> **Gauntlets yield the most EXP** for the time you spend inside, though **Raids give the most EXP** over-all. You should aim to finish these first if you lack the time for a complete cycle.
In addition, it is safe to say that:
> **PVP gives the worst amount of EXP** for the amount of time you spend there. These should not be a priority unless you want to get into the PVP leaderboards and earn your rewards.
___________________________________
**SHOW ME THE NUMBERS - A ROUGH ESTIMATE**
So far so good? Awesome. A 480-minute cool-down timer would also mean that:
> As a free-to-play (F2P) player, you can do a maximum of 3 cycles a day. As such, you should **check back every eight hours.**
But not all of us have the time, yes?
Due to this, I have come up with three scenarios where a player could estimate how long he would take to reach Level 100 according to his time commitment to the game. It becomes slightly complicated because I split the level progression as "Pre-Raids" (when you have not reached R1 yet), and "Raids" at Level 60 onwards. This calculation is done under the assumption that a Minor Experience Tomb, which gives 25% additional EXP, is used every day.
[![https://gyazo.com/721a97598719a3c877b2a0fd5f5e26dc](https://i.gyazo.com/721a97598719a3c877b2a0fd5f5e26dc.png)](https://gyazo.com/721a97598719a3c877b2a0fd5f5e26dc)
Before reaching raids, the player should be able to do this in order to advance in levels.
> * A hardcore player has to log in **three** times a day and play/AFK for approximately half an hour each time. **Total time taken a day: 1.5 Hours**
.
> * A hobbyist player has to log in **two** times a day and play/AFK for approximately half an hour each time. **Total time taken a day: 1 Hour**
.
> * A casual player should log in **one** time a day and play/AFK for approximately half an hour each time. **Total time taken a day: 30 Minutes**
After reaching raids, the player should be able to do this in order to advance in levels.
> * A hardcore player has to log in **three** times a day and play/AFK for approximately an hour each time. **Total time taken a day: 3 Hours**
.
> * A hobbyist player has to log in **two** times a day and play/AFK for approximately an hour each time. **Total time taken a day: 2 Hours**
.
> * A casual player should log in **one** time a day and play/AFK for approximately an hour each time. **Total time taken a day: 1 Hour**
Phew, that was tough.
With these rough estimates, one can safely say that, by finishing all your dungeon, gauntlet, raid and PVP runs:
> * > A hardcore F2P player can reach Level 100 in **42 days** (1.5 months).
* > A hobbyist F2P player Level 100 in **63 days** (2 months).
* > A casual F2P player Level 100 in **126 days** (~4 months).

**BUT WAIT, THERE'S MORE!**
.
.
.
There was chatter on Discord, and Borealis mentioned this:
> I did not account for weekly boosts. As these boosts are pretty significant, it would be best that these boosts are included in the estimations.
________________________
**EXP GAIN INCLUDING WEEKLY BOOSTS**
The weekly boosts are as follows:
[![https://gyazo.com/0ec46f9a29206479065ccb826e7a6043](https://i.gyazo.com/0ec46f9a29206479065ccb826e7a6043.png)](https://gyazo.com/0ec46f9a29206479065ccb826e7a6043)
*Source: Bit Heroes Wikia*
Alright, so it was back to the drawing boards and after ~~setting my calculator on fire~~ some quick calculations, I figured out that an easy way to calculate this was to come up with a chart that shows how much EXP a player could get if he only did **one EXP cycle a day** for a week. This way, I could multiply the boosts in day-by-day, and get a week's worth of EXP from one cycle. I can simply multiply this cycle by three to get the amount of EXP a F2P hardcore player would obtain. From this reasoning, I came up with the chart below.
This chart shows the estimated **EXP of a player who runs 1 cycle a day for a week BEFORE RAIDS**:
[![https://gyazo.com/731f6c81d07eb7acd4ce6bf028ca673f](https://i.gyazo.com/731f6c81d07eb7acd4ce6bf028ca673f.png)](https://gyazo.com/731f6c81d07eb7acd4ce6bf028ca673f)
This chart shows the estimated **EXP of a player who runs 1 cycle a day for a week AFTER RAIDS**:
[![https://gyazo.com/14fb4faa275e9da6e10c0bf364a27766](https://i.gyazo.com/14fb4faa275e9da6e10c0bf364a27766.png)](https://gyazo.com/14fb4faa275e9da6e10c0bf364a27766)
From these charts, it can be seen that:
> Wednesdays give the highest amount of EXP boost (50%) with the Minor Experience Tome (25%) at +75% EXP boost. Always buy the Minor Experience Tome and have it on if you can afford it. It's almost always worth it.
.
> Thursdays, Fridays and Sundays are the worst days for EXP boosts since they don't give any. As a general note though, they are **really** good for other boosts such as item boosts and familiar chance boosts! Even then, your Minor Experience Tome should already give you a good +25% boost already.
.
> Unfortunately, the highest EXP boost a F2P player can get without having runes or spending gems is +75% EXP boost. You could boost it up to +85% with two common +5% EXP runes that you can trade for in the 'Crafting' tab. However, you can further boost the EXP bonus to 115% with two legendary +20% EXP runes. It's not too shabby considering the maximum EXP boost at the time of writing is 190% for P2P.
.
> Mini Disclaimer: You also get Average Experience Tomes (+50%) when you clear dungeons/flags for the first time. You can use those to hit (50%+50%) EXP bonus on Wednesdays!
.
> It would be a **really** good tip to **get your common 5% EXP gain runes as soon as possible**. It helps your EXP gain by a mile.

**WHAT IS YOUR ESTIMATED LEVEL AFTER PLAYING FOR _____ WEEKS? **
This is probably what everyone is waiting for, ey?
I was linked to a post from PotatoTree on Discord, and this was the estimated level gain per week.
[![https://gyazo.com/f446fa346365b29a4bb2466f03487806](https://i.gyazo.com/f446fa346365b29a4bb2466f03487806.png)](https://gyazo.com/f446fa346365b29a4bb2466f03487806)
I would say it's accurate, but I would err on the side of gross under-estimation and state that:
> According to this chart, the F2P player would manage a **minimum range between 150,000 EXP to 450,000 EXP per week.**
Okay, so I ran the numbers that I got from the weekly EXP gain and multiplied it by the number of weeks. From there, I calculated pre-Raid EXP until the player hit Raids (which is capped at level 60 for simplicity's sake) and added Raid EXP from there till Level 100. The information of levels are extracted from http://bit-heroes.wikia.com/wiki/Experience.
[![https://gyazo.com/9a83df9d02ff7ec62274659722c47b09](https://i.gyazo.com/9a83df9d02ff7ec62274659722c47b09.png)](https://gyazo.com/9a83df9d02ff7ec62274659722c47b09)
> The **casual player** (logs in 1 time a day, finishes 1 EXP cycle) will hit Raids in around six weeks. **The player will hit Level 100 in 16 weeks (4 months).**
[![https://gyazo.com/d394d742801adf40c97527b3eb958d5e](https://i.gyazo.com/d394d742801adf40c97527b3eb958d5e.png)](https://gyazo.com/d394d742801adf40c97527b3eb958d5e)
> The **hobbyist player** (logs in 2 times a day, finishes 2 EXP cycles) will hit Raids in half the time, around three weeks. **The player will hit Level 100 in 8 weeks (2 months).**
[![https://gyazo.com/83e7e5f35b7ffa801f18359c278939cb](https://i.gyazo.com/83e7e5f35b7ffa801f18359c278939cb.png)](https://gyazo.com/83e7e5f35b7ffa801f18359c278939cb)
> The **hardcore player** (logs in 3 times a day, finishes 3 EXP cycles) is already Level 47 after the first week, and hit Raids after two weeks of playing. **The player will hit Level 104 in 6 weeks (42 days)!**

> After speaking with Taters, I realise that the reason I got a 450k/week EXP gain as opposed to 600k/week as due to the fact that I merely added the bonuses together. **Daily bonuses/scrolls/runes are additive and then multiplied by dungeon bonus.**
.
> As such, a clear example would be [[ Base EXP (100%) + Minor Experience Tome (25%) + Wednesday Daily Bonus (50%) ]] * Heroic Dungeon Bonus (300%) = 525% EXP
.
> Without a Minor Experience Tome, it would be [[ Base EXP (100%) + Wednesday Daily Bonus (50%) ]] * Heroic Dungeon Bonus (300%) = 450% EXP
.
> In this case, the Minor Experience Tome actually plays a much larger role in EXP than previous mentioned - hence the large discrepancy in EXP. Hope this helps clear the air!
.
.
.
I hope this information helps the F2P player see that it's actually pretty possible to get a relatively high level with constant commitment to the game.
Happy grinding!

I'll also like to thank the following for helping with this guide:
* Citronia for helping with the EXP calculations and double-checking
* smiiley & smiile's and Blasian's base EXP calculations
* Borealis, Tomestone247 and Kimnak for their help in linking me to the relevant resources
* Itri for compiling the lists, and actually helping me on Discord with actual stats (she even sacrificed some precious energy to do 1 token trial runs omg)
* Taters for helping to run through calculations and showing me that actual EXP gains are way, way higher.
* NukingFutz for helping see the light of day in this guide. It's a guide, not a mathematical proof :P

Changes made to the guide - I have put in limitations of the guide - It was getting way too tough to calculate heroic bonuses on top of EXP bonuses, so I'm leaving this guide as a bare minimum of how long it would take for the F2P player to hit Level 100. Thanks for the input, molokot!

Thank you for the kind words, guys. Thought I should make a guide so that there is a semblance of mathematical proof to show that F2P players can reach a relatively high level with enough dedication to the game - that balance is probably making the game really good. I have got to say that this guide took me much longer than I expected. Thanks for the add, xyrilyn.
HeyContra1, I can say with 100% certainty that this feat is definitely achievable if it's followed, since the numbers are grossly under-represented since I did not account for EXP bonuses such as Heroic Dungeon bonuses and EXP runes. The main issue I'm having now is trying to proof that the EXP gain is much higher rather than lower! (My calculations brought me to 450k while many experts in the community are vouching for 600k-800k averages). Molokot's testimony should be proof enough ^ haha!
Do let me know if there are any queries as to the guide - I'll try to shed as much light as possible where-ever I can. Thought it would be good to restart the conversation on EXP gain. :)

Yes, I am aware of that. The guide specifically mentions that later on. Still, I have rephrased the words so it sounds more technically correct. Thanks for the heads up!

Hey donovantan,
Three thumbs up for this guide! It's exactly what i need right now: 2 weeks(f2p) at level 68.
I am planning to buy the 12,500 gems. After buying 100% exp, item find, gold, & speed scrolls: should i use it for items(fridays) or exp(wed)? And purely for raid(more exp+leg chance) or gauntlets(rewards+leg chance)?
If it matters, i am planning to become a tank at end game. Any tips on those would be useful too :)

Hi there engkijo, thank you for the kind words. Keep going!
**TL;DR: Use your Major EXP Tomes on Wednesdays, and your Major Item Find Scroll on Fridays. Try PVP this week and get Mirror Wings. Attach Sol Runes.**
Also, great question. So, a few things:
* I wouldn't recommend spending gems on the Major Gold Potions since you need those precious gems for legendary familiars later to help you with end-game content. You can get a decent amount of gold to live by if you activate the Minor Gold Potions - Those cost only 5,000 gold. **Personally, I find Minor Gold Potions worth the buy if I collect about 20k and above in gold per day.** I usually turn it on every day these days - it helps my gold gain by alot.
.
* The same goes for Speed Kicks. It's pretty fun to have them around just to whizz around things. However, there is very little purpose for them for now, since they lower the amount of time you spend in dungeons and trials. You can simply get the Minor Speed Kicks (+25%) for fun.
.
* With all these said, you'd want to use your Major EXP tomes on Wednesdays as mentioned in the guide. Saturdays are also kinda worth, since they give 30%, followed by Mondays and Tuesdays.
.
* As for items, use the Major Item Find Scrolls on Fridays. Remember to change your runes to Item Find Runes on Fridays too. So, if I'm not wrong, bonuses are additive - It is then multiplied by the dungeon/raid/trial bonus. An example would be this:
On Fridays, you can get:
* > (100% Base Chance + 100% Major Scroll + 50% Friday Daily Bonus + 10% [Two +5% Common Runes]) x 300% = 780% chance of item find in trials, and
* > (100% Base Chance + 100% Major Scroll + 50% Friday Daily Bonus + 10% [Two +5% Common Runes]) x 500% = 1300% chance of item find in raids.
That's a whopping 13 times of a regular chance to find an item.
However, if use your Major Item Find Scroll on a day without daily bonus, you get this:
* > (100% Base Chance + 100% Major Scroll + 10% [Two +5% Common Runes]) x 300% = 630% chance of item find in trials, and
* > (100% Base Chance + 100% Major Scroll + 10% [Two +5% Common Runes]) x 500% = 1050% chance of item find in raids.
Compare this to having a Minor Scroll on a regular day without daily bonus:
* > (100% Base Chance + 25% Minor Scroll + 10% [Two +5% Common Runes]) x 300% = 405% chance of item find in trials, and
* > (100% Base Chance + 25% Minor Scroll + 10% [Two +5% Common Runes]) x 500% = 675% chance of item find in raids.
As you can see, that 50% daily boost on Wednesdays and Fridays play a very big part in getting you your items/EXP. As for legendaries, there are no concrete numbers on the chances of getting Legendary items as of writing, but rumour has it that it is 1 Legendary per 50 raids. I can't say what the base chance of getting legendaries are, so while you are increasing your chances by almost 12 times (13-1=12 #mymathisgud), it's after all still up to the RNG. All the best there!
Yes, becoming a tank is goooood. Tanks are like unicorns in this game - rare and magical. I would recommend trying to get the Mirror Wings in PVP this week - I have heard that it is amazing! Get a Sol Rune too - that's the one where there's a chance for attacks to redirect from your team-mates to you. You can find more info on runes here: http://bit-heroes.wikia.com/wiki/Runes
As for other tips - I'll have to let the other experts in Discord take over from there. I'm more of a numbers guy. :)

Hi DonovanTan,
Thank you for a very detailed answer, level 69 now. Still no legendary from raids but crafted 2 common exp runes :) i will also be waiting for those tips on how to be a tank :)
And last question: which would you recommend more? Wednesdays with 100% exp tome, and use raid refills OR fridays with 100% item find scroll and use raid refills. Both until gems run out :p

That's a really tough question, engkijo.
There is no clear answer on this - To-may-to, to-mah-to.
I would say this, though:
**Choosing EXP Path**
> * There is no RNG in play here - You grind, git levels and git good.
.
> * I find that people are more keen to add you in guilds / add you into their friend-list when you're of a higher level, since you show some semblance of commitment to the game.
.
> * Guilds are happy to have you around since you provide so much EXP contribution for them. This EXP also gets you closer to your Luvboi/Voodoo Wings and what-not.
.
> * However, levels are just a vanity metric at the end of the day. It does not offer much increase in TS, which is ultimately what you want to have so you can attempt tougher dungeons, R2, and possibly become a bad-ass R2 Heroic tank one day.
**Choosing Item Path**
> * You get a much higher chance of getting legendaries. However, do note that this is all RNG - You could go 3 raids with 3 legendaries, or 300 raids with 1. So the question here is, do you feel lucky? ;)
.
> * That's it.
Clearly, it would be best to do both - Both the major EXP tome and major item scroll are worth the 500 gems you pay for, since they accelerate your gameplay by so much. However, if I had to choose, I would **grind for a couple of legendaries first, then rush for EXP**.
I'd personally prefer to be a level 80 with 700TS than a level 100 with 550TS. Cheers!

Awesome! I will follow your advice, will start with the gems this week (but i still cant sync my ios account with my pc kong account - cheaper gems on kong, other character still stuck on tutorial, when does the "k" logo show up so i can change account? Alt is at 16 now i think).
And btw, ygpm :)
