He is only under undead because in his lore,he dies.(Dramatic dun dun dun)
Otherwise,he’s more fo a torjan if you ask me,even shares some of the animations.
yeah there is a very big similarity between the FSC mission ‘King of Ashes’ and vana’s lore. if the wiki hadnt been in ‘Maintenance Downtime’ then i would’ve submitted the link anyways in the lore vana goes to a cave which has a fire ‘deity’ in it and when he asks for help the ground(which is just ash) sucks him in, burns away his whatever normal form was and turns him into the vanaduke we see now who is just mad up of pure magical ash and that is why he is called The King of Ashes and when u kill him he turns yellow i.e. the magic from the ashes goes away and leaves behind normal ash which later is blown away by the ‘wind’
