Fun little game. Good to see other devs making stuff in such short amounts of time. At first I didn't get the turret placement, but that's because it was placing them without me realizing it. Turns out it was working correctly, I just was holding LMB too much. Check my games out too, let me know what you think.

Cheers, yes you only need to click to engage a target, move to a new location, or on the green orb to deploy a turret at it's current location.
