If it is supposed to parody a good game, then it is a good parody, being a bad game. You should add a lot more elements to it. Where is the "JRPG" part? There are no spells except heal, which doesen't even use mana. What about a leveling system? The enemys look really creative.

So the first enemy can continuously heal itself for at least double the damage I can do? Sure it can't damage me in the same turn, but that makes for a pretty tedious battle.

The player and enemy can deal and heal a minimum of 1 point and a maximum of 50 points. It's completely even and completely up to chance. That said, tedium is part of the point.
