There is such a thing as a positive Electron, however, that is what is called "anti-matter". If a positive electron collides with a negative electron the result is a massive discharge of energy.

No Wipeout4wh, you are wrong, there is a such thing as a positive electron, called a positron, and it is anti-matter, a proton is nothing like an electron due to its much higher mass, and incidentally this has nothing to do with knowing atoms, just sub-atomic particles.
