I like the sounds. The wall jump needs a bit of work. I should be able to wall jump while pushing a direction. I found that in order to wall jump, I had to release all direction keys and press jump again.

I like this game, but it needs some work. I think hit detection on enemies is an issue as there are many places where I landed right on top of an enemy and died. Also, I feel like the whole game is covered in butter the way I slide around.

Just because you used the platformer kit, that doesn't mean you need to leave all the graphics the same, especially that character who is probably in over half the Stencyl games on this site.
Ive been working on my own sprites for quite some time, but unfortunately the animations did not work properly with the stencyl kit =(
