Description
This is my first real game, and is the outcome of using the shootorial :)
there is no bosses and no API yet, and is just a simple shooter, made to a schoolproject, where we needed some interactive flash stuff on the webpage.

I got bored after i realized that you don't get hurt off the bottom of the screen but you can still kill people.
This is broken and needs fixing. Less enemys and edge of map walls.
I think i have a fixed version on my laptop somewhere, i made after reading this. And thanks for the repsonse :)

Could go with a never ending level based idea? Health gets full enough and then it resets and you move on to the next level with harder enemies(different graphics for each rank of enemy, maybe? Don't have to do too many, just have it go in a loop, like level 1 looks like they do now, each level after that different, then level 10 or whenever you get sick of adding new ones and they can loop back to the original enemy only stronger. As it is right now(minus the no border aspect) it reminds me of like, a preloader game you mess with while waiting for the real game. Anyhow, hope my suggestions help.

Also, let the enemies spawn on the whole area, don't leave the left and right sides clear to just sit and hide.

First, lower the enemy fire rate. It gets boring sitting on the edge and waiting for a single enemy so you can sneak out and kill one without getting hit, and any other way is mostly impossible. Might need to lower the health regain on the kills once you do that. Second, make it so you can't fly off the edges of the screen. I tried to test how far I could go and completely lost the ship(maybe a restart button, so you don't have to reload the whole page?). Third, freesound.org? If not music, at least fire(search "space gun") and hit sound effects.

Try making the background move to the speed of your player, to make it look like you're going forward... that is unless the enemy is coming towards you
