You should be able to build structures and support. So you can block water but it can only stand so much weight. Use the wood for building.

There should also be a certain amount of air alowed in the air pockets. Lets say Im swimming and I dig dirt at the top. There is a bubble of air from the water. There should only be a certain amount depending on how big a pocket.

Cool game, but why wouldn't 'jump' be 'up'? Whilst using WASD and the mouse the spacebar is awkward to use.
