Description

This is a very basic start to my first game. Any positive comments are helplful to how to make this fun. Please don't comment on how bad this is, it is just a starter.

Basically, JUST FLY

*Please note*
This game will not end up like all the "shoot" tutorial game types. The reason the game looks like this so faar is because of my lack of knowledge in programming and coding. What is on your web -page now, is unimaginable in comparison to what goes on in my head, but alas, that is my only fallback.

UPDATE 4***
Fixed the game borders so now there is no possible way for a player to fall out of the game… but there is a minor glitch where you can turn the huey upside down, which will be fixed very soon

You need Menu, Icons, graphics for explosions, completions, landing, taking off, rescues, etc... etc.. etc... Making a full gratifying game is a long process. Take minecraft. Took him a LONG ASS TIME to make it, but now he's sold over a million copies. Just put lots of thought into this.

Write down your ideas, make a flowchart. If you're in highschool make this one of your projects so that you can get a grade for it. When doing this you have to be organized and have a clear direction. I hope this helps!

Let me start by saying that the following is in no way trying to discourage you from making games, but please don't publish unfinished material. I know you see other people doing it. But don't, it looks bad.

Now grab a notepad and take notes.. on the pad.. >.>

First and foremost you need a compelling storyline or fun repeatable plot line. Just have a sit one day and think for a while on it. Mull around ideas, write them down. And whatever you think sticks, use it. Throw out the rest and stick with one idea at a time. If the idea isn't working, throw it out and start again. This is the creative process.

Don't publish your tests... Only test in the flash, or test in kongregate but don't press the Publish Button...

Handling is nice. I like your artwork. This could be the basis of a good game. I'd suggest trying to do something other than just blow up enemies, come up with something original if you can.

The helicopter controls take a lot of getting used to, but once you do I think they really suit the game. Something like this could be turned into a pretty fast-paced shooter.
