You've got some addictive stuff over here. 2 remarks; it's really frustrating to get 3 extra lives in a row when you don't need them. And when you DO need them, they tend to stay away. I don't mind the randomness of the game (keeps you sharp) but fixed 'power-ups' would have been nice. Also I avoid the invincible star whenever possible, doesn't give you an advantage at all (on the contrary, it just makes your character harder to see). Beside all of this, nice work.

I just think the "Miss!" thing is a little annoying. It doesn't have to tell me when I don't get a little gold coin. lol.

By the way, the incentive for not missing the coins is that when you miss a coin, your multiplier is reset.

Nice, I think the random is a bit too random - 1st time I had no upgrades at all, 2nd, I had nearly too many.. apart from that nice, and I like the simple graphics.
