Description

This is the first iteration of our first game. The first level and all its features were completed in a day, and the second level in the next.

The beta only contains the first two levels as of yet, and there is no HUD.

If you find any bugs, say in the comments or email us at: SherbetLemonStudios@gmail.com

KNOWN BUGS:
-If the ball is pushed into a corner, it may occasionally phase through the floor, once this happens, the ball will be reset.
-You can fall into the red hole before the ball is placed in, becoming stuck (Fix is on its way)

Comment jouer

The aim of the game is to find the Ball of Fury, and push it into the Hole of Fury (glowing red hole). Once this is done, get yourself into the green hole to advance to the next level.

CONTROLS:
WASD – move
Left Shift – Sprint
Space – Jump
Q – Lock / Unlock Mouse

(Feedback too long for a single comment, and the last one got messed up by some error)

On that point, I feel that the physics are very well done; when the ball hits a wall, it's doesn't come to a dead stop or just switch directions, rather it gives a little bounce (which is adorable), loses some momentum (which is realistic) and the walls are spaced enough that I can get around it to push it back (Which is useful m not a music expert.

I've just finished the first level, and I must say this game is pretty aptly named. I'm very grateful for the minimap, otherwise it would have taken much longer. I think this game could very much benefit from a tutorial, unless the whole point of the game is to figure out how to play it. As for the camera style, I think this game could benefit from something similar to minecraft, with the cursor being locked in the middle of the screen (and replaced with a crosshair or something). For the concept, it has a lot of potential, but right now feels like it's missing something. There were also frequent instances of me trying to catch up to the ball( there were a few times I actually ended up on top of the ball, may want to do something about that), but just being too slow, so I had to wait for the ball to collide with a wall and then push it back from there.

Huge thanks for the feedback. There will be a tutorial added soon, along with some more levels, speed tweaks and maybe a little music. And as for the fullscreen, the downloadable release of the game (that shall be released at a later date) has native support for fullscreen. Thanks again for the feedback, and I look forward to hearing from you in the future. MrFodds, lead developer

TL;DR: Overall a pretty good game, but has key point that should be worked on.
