Judging by the comments I would guess that I am the only person so far to discover the easter egg which starts the actual game. If you align the ninja and the bunchie on the same area, hidden behind the tree then a new menu comes up and bunchie bunchie fun fun begins

I would say that Bunchie Bunchie Fun Fun could not be classified as a game, but more an interactive art piece. The way the characters flow freely, not confined to the tiny world around them, seeking better places by releasing themselves from their boundaries. A majestic sense of the realism of the outside world is apparent, should you command your character to venture further than the oak tree or the elderberry bush, it takes the same time to travel back as to travel out. From the intuitive nature of the controls for both protagonists flows a gigantic sense of empathy for the characters, enabling the player to put themselves in the shoes of the characters, living life in two dimensions for the duration of the game. I have nominated this game to win the Henry Gosling prize for the artist who has most successfully challenged accepted artistic perceptions and practices. Like the characters can move through their landscape, I would rate this game beyond the bounds of 5 stars if I could.

There are a lot of defense games, but there aren't a lot of them that have that undefineable quality that makes them truly addictive and enjoyable. The Gem Craft series had it, and so, it would seem, does bbff. Unlike many other defense titles, where you put your towers really seems to matter, and planning out your strategy and seeing it come to fruition is very satisfying. While the map visuals start to feel a little stagnant after a while (gee, this sure is some nice cloned terrain here that apparently makes up the entire kingdom), on the whole bbff is nicely presented. There's no story, but then again, the game doesn't really need one.

There are some minor annoyances; the game starts to drag with longer and longer, but you've got everything you're ever going to have from the get-go. 5/5
