Family of ogres

I'm a big fan of difference games. This one is not that bad but i see a few things that could be really improved. First, concerning the art: it seems that most differences are introduced by *removing* elements; that would be fine if the picture was not already flatten. Sadly the use of a blur brush is here *way* too apparent. Concerning the story line, well i have to ask: is there one? Last, there are a few differences in the dark areas of the image, such differences may be impossible to find depending on the user monitor settings (actually this is a mistake found in many difference games).

Feedback: It's hard to read the white text. I'd prefer the picture to be in the middle. And it would probably look better on a black background so the image is front and center in the attention.

A couple of things:
1. The score at the end of each level is the same color as the white sun flare behind it. Just a small thing, but it does cause a bit of eyestrain.
2. The differences seem to jump from large and ominous to so miniscule you can't even see the difference after using the reveal button. The only real problem with this is that the difficulty seems to have no real "curve" to it. It seems very random.

With that out of the way, I must ask about the art. It's all very good. I did notice that it shared a similar style with the art on old Magic the Gathering cards, especially the pirate-themed levels. I'm I stretching if I notice a Mercadian Masks influence?
