Why the sliding affect? It's more annoying than fun. If you didn't slide, this game would be more smooth and enjoyable.

The Hardcore pixelating make it easier to judge hit boxes and stuff.
Combine that with the somehow addicive gameplay.
And you've got yourself a top quality game
