The sprite is walking fine, but when I get it to walk the walking animation doesn't stop when the sprite isn't moving. Any advice? :s

Too glitchy, you can walk through NPCs. Not a good coding style. ALT key is a horrible choice. What it teaches you is not decent enough to make anything good. 2/5 for the effort.
