1st age:
animal breeding -> spam cattle
mudbrick construction for population limit
before 2nd age, research 2 required techs to unlock stonebrick construction
2nd age: spam veterinary medicine, stonebrick when close to population limit.
before 3rd age, research pre requirements for writing
3rd age: writing -> code of law -> spam selective breeding and city planning(when close to population limit)
research megastructure when you are close to 2.5M production.
at turn 120 you should have 400-500k population, and population growth of 40k/turn.
0 workers in mine, 0 in temple, but your population passive bonuses grants you 1 technology every 1-2 turns, and 200k production/turn.
Buildings: mudbrick houses and corral as soon as possible.
you can eventually waste 1 research point at anytime to get stone weapon and the barracks if you have high treat level.
and that's all, you save up all other building points for the pyramid.

Oh and ALWAYS fight if their strength is "low", you'll always succeed, and you get a permanent 10% strength bonus. Even if they have low cunning as well, fight, the bonus is worth the population loss.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Important note: your military strength/threat level has no impact whatsoever on how difficult incoming threats are. It only changes how often you're attacked. It is entirely feasible once you hit a critical point with Farming or Animal Breeding (where your population just starts exploding) to completely forego any defense at all (100% threat) because it's still reasonably likely that they'll be low strength or cunning and you can beat them, and if you can't you have your crazy population growth to make up for the losses.
Also "medium" strength or cunning is utterly identical to "high", with a 0% success chance. If there's nothing low, flee, it's your only chance of success.

This is not made up... I got attacked 6x in a row by a neighboring moron tribe. And I only had 11% Threat. In the end I've got 16% FTW

Glitch? 1,3B is a max for all the counter in the game. Just after you've got negative counter and the counter start again to 0. How it can be used ? Buy any Building for more than 1,3B, the next level of this building will cost -1,3B (gain) and the second next will cost 500k... Be careful it's the same for the max population above 1,3B the counter is negative > and you lose :(.

Well.. Greed empire, drought then forced to pay off my food.
Even my farm and cattle full it's still have minus food. What a great time for my tribe
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
why does this game still transmit some sort of audio through my headphones with both music and sound effects muted....constant static that only happens with this game
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I like how the description said Before Christ, not Before Common Era. i find that change to be pretty stupid. replace the way of dates because athiests hate christians for no reason? seems legit. :/

Numbers lost after battle doesnt sync with how many you actually lose. My pop have been around 1mill/1.3max. Every time i get hit it says i lose about 50k and i drop from 1mill to 750k-850k. Pop. It doesnt bloody matter if i flee or fight. If i fight i at least get 10% power... which doesnts seem to do nothing. At this point researching 50% power doesnt sink threat at all. Bloody useless at the far end of the game.

Day 786 my tribe grows tired of being raided and wishes they could raid neighboring tribes as well....i fear my rule is being questioned
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
this game is stupid. How come investing in military and high population doesn't yield any benefit? It's also stupid the dis-proportionality of agriculture, animal breeding and fishing. This game has a cool concept but the implementation is weak. I don't like games where you have to follow a recipe to be successful and even less the somewhat reality simulators that go against the way civilizations evolved throughout the ages..

i love about how the threat permantly rises up every turn after some point(a point after you build the pyramid) instant 5/5

WOW, played hardest difficulty, made it to "2.5 million" production on turn 150 but apparently it rounded up and I could not build the damn structure. Lost game next turn.

year 1445 B.C. well threat is permanently at 100% and every 3. year about 1 million of my people die due to failed raids but the other 2 years are enough to grow my population... i may try to get to year 0 :p

there was an acient civ that had 9.2million pop, but it got wiped out from the surface of earth due to some random barbarian's attack.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Finished 2300, 179K pop.
Buy first lv tech in 1st and 2nd age. 1, grow at .5 >. 8-12% threat.
2nd: Start w 3 RP. Max fish, then farm, then pray, then work. Grow at 10.
3rd, with 10 RP. Fish and war and grow. Fish first, pop as nec, get grow over 5K.
Max W, then P, then keep maxing P. Score > 12,000.

"Once upon a time there was a vast civilization that numbered over a million in one city alone. They were a culturally advanced society with technology far more advanced than the rest of humanity. But there were problems. By 1000 B.C., there were no more traces of this society."
"Were did they go? Why did the civilization disappear off the face of the earth?"
"Why, they were a couple years too late to build one of the wonders of the world!"

Warning! Do NOT play without any kind of sound output device plugged in as the game will eat up all resources and hang the PC. Sadly.

Instructions aren't all that clear. To anyone struggling, here are a few tips:
To increase population, increase food supplies.
To build buildings, increase mining supplies.
To increase research points, increase culture points.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
I only get option to join up with a group when I'm full on population, so I can never gain new people this way. Well, once I got 1 person but I always get the culture slow though.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
if you want to cheat, there's a really easy way to win the game. get to the end of a failed game, lower all defenses into food so that it's 100% threat and high population growth, then click end turn and quickly press menu so that you'll have the options on top of an attack coming in, then click restart. if done right you should lose a few thousand people, and have 25 on turn 2. a few turns into the game your people hould also gain multiple thousand percent strength
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Ok so I know nothing. How do you increase population growth? How do you increase Culture max? Instruction very lacking!!!
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
...i love the game, i just can't ever seem to win.
I'm usually very good at these kind of games, but this one....
i dunno, seems like unless you RACE for the Wonder, you can't win.
Under rating threshold (hideshow)
Well lets see starting turn 10 I was attacked every turn after even when I had risk at 2%, seems a bit off, could be fun but the threat percent seems to not be anywhere near right. 3/5

Whoever wants high ranks on deity, get to build your pyramid at 2020BC, everything else should be really devoted to making high population. I've got 39000+ last time I did just that. And, I didn't amp culture tree past 1/1/1, and technically could do with those points shifted to housing instead.
