So I played for 1203 turns and found a way to generate 1+ billion culture per turn, then went wild with my 20k~ tech points and added about 50-100 points into everything, my population reached the billions, I had billios of people working everywhere and my threat level was constantly 0-0.2%.
I then thought it'd be a fantastic idea to spend another load of tech points, the game exploded and my population became 0/-1.9 (+206m). With no population; none of my fields, pastures ,fishers, miners were working yet the threat level was still at 0-0.2%.
I now have NULL/1.9b culture per turn and 40x tech points.
lmao, what did I do!

I've built Wonder of the World in 2500 B.C. playing on hard at my 2nd try.
Hint: don't waste research points at the early stage of growing.

Wow... fun game to play it seems. But each time I am encountered by enemies my army even though the threat level is around 6% are beaten every time. So I lost the game not being able to focus on the Pyramid but on strenght. Yet no matter how much idle people I have to defend my tribe or all the weaponry and buildings (except wall) I lose. Egypt could never have flourished if it lost every war and get enslaved.

Old Dynasty Trait : Feebleness (+40% strength)
New Dynasty Trait: Feebleness (-40% strength )
but 1.4*0.6 = 0.84
I still loss 16% strength

The production reported by my UI is not at all similar to my actual production (I'm getting about 40% as much per turn as it looks like I should). Not sure if UI bug displaying the wrong number, or game bug *giving* the wrong number.

Okay so it seems about 2.5 B is the max that your numbers go, after that you hit - numbers. So while you could use this to glitch the game into giving you infinite research points, or infinite building materials, unfortunatly the other two lead to game over as youll lose X food per turn or just straight up die. (Though to be fair by the time you can even DO this your already in sandbox mode)
fun game by the way

It's fun to try different strategies, but even luck plays a big role. If everything goes right, then you'll definitely get the win.

Tip: You don't need your danger level(%) to be low, if your danger is 50%. It's a 50-50 chance you won't get attacked. Defiantly worth the risk if trying for hard mode or building your civilization faster.

Getting a steady 1 new tech per 2-3 turns all game long. I'm sitting on over 3M production and only need Megastructure research, have 10 turns remaining, and suddenly it takes 11 turns to discover the next tech. That was cold-hearted of the game devs.

3) Once you reach 2000, dump points in selection and head for city planning. Advanced levels of selection gives you insane food, so you can put two points in monotheism. Once you've got 25k guys in the pasture and the +% culture techs, focus exclusively on raising pop max and dumping points in bronze working. Finished with 4 points in bronze working, 4 in selection, 5 in city planning. Build the Mine and level 2 Smithy (in that order) when possible. Done correctly, you'll have more than 2.5 mil production points when you unlock pyramids and will finish with 25+ turns to spare and ~140k population.

Since my last post I've broken 10,000 on Deity several times, so I thought I'd give some more tips. 1) at the beginning, advance tech mysticism -> breeding -> cattle -> mysticism 2 -> cattle 2 - mysticism 3 before doing anything else. You'll want to reach 3000 BC with level 3 mysticism and level 3-4 cattle and only one point in everything else. 2) You should have some points saved when you reach 3000, so get Bread and put the rest in veterinary medicine. Advance vet medicine ASAP and keep pop maxed with stonebrick, putting a total of 3 points in polytheism when possible and getting the production techs. No points in fishing, weapons, or any additional farming tech, you don't need em. Try to get 7 points in vet med and 5 in stonebrick.

My people prayed to the gods for knowledge and help. But they didnt help fighting the enemies. Then I built a wall... too bad that my people cant worship the wall.
Great game. 5*

It's a nice game, but not much of a replay value. Once you know what to do and when, you can easily win every time. There aren't a whole lot of variables.

waited for this game for ages, paid for it on my iphone and it never worked but still super excited i can finally play it

A way to win on the hardest difficulty is to:
(1) Spend first 3 research points in cows and put all workers on cows. Then get house tech and mysticism.
(2) Continue to grow and get the rest of the technologies in the first age. Try to get the barracks up before the start of the second age.
(3) Once you get in the second age, spend you first research points on fish upgrades and immediately switch all workers to fill the fishermen spots.
(4) Then get polytheism and the house upgrade.
(5) Spend a few more points in oars and just continue to grow, eventually getting the "hammer" technologies and setting workers on the mountains. Try to get as many buildings up as possible before the third age.
(6) When the third age comes, immediately spend a few research points in fishing again and add workers to fill the spots.
(7) At some point, get monotheism and code of laws and continue to invest in fishing.
(8) Get city planning and bronze working.

Good, but still a bit buggy. The main one for me is that if you pick the "flee" option when you are attacked, it may say "X amount of people died", but ALL the people on defense always die/disappear as well.

Game bus out if you play too long- the great pyramid upgrades start costing MINUS amounts of building points, so you can build loads of levels of that for free... the bonus then go crazy, moving into "null". I got bred of distributing research points when I had 40k of them to allocate... :P
Good game though!

Here's how to beat it on highest difficulty: Keep risk of attack at about 10%. Unless you're going to other upgrades, don't invest in food tech lines other than animal husbandry - they aren't nearly as good. Don't upgrade strength unless it feeds to something non-strength - you'll get plenty of strength through barracks, or the +10%'s you get from winning a fight. All you really want to upgrade is food and population, since population gives you passive +production and +culture. Try to save some points if you're 10-20 turns from the next age. Good luck!

Hmm, am I the only one that feels this is relying too much on RNG? There is RNG everywhere... EVERYWHERE.. Well except skilltree, but it is reliant on RNG elements so kinda there as well.

I accidentally always click the "Next turn"-button instead of the "Research"-button. This turns out to be quite irritating as it makes me lose some rounds in which I don't apply workers.

Bit annoyed, final turn and I just got 1.5m production points but I still cant build the pyramid. This means that the building does not actually require exactly 1.5m please fix this.
