Although I generally prefer games without a timer, I think this one could use one to play against. Maybe have breakable objects that you or the oversized dustbunnies could knock over (but don't just shatter them by being touched)? The "hardest" (and most visually appealing) level was 3 (I think), where the dustbunnies kind of blended in with the background... Maybe do more along those lines (dustbunny colour blending with room colour scheme, shape and placement fitting in with room background).

Needs obstacles. Also needs the master or the lady of the house to appear and the maid has to be "invisible". It would be cute of the dust bunnies were actually dust-coloured bunnies. that would be cute. Nice physics. Good gameplay.

It's not very challenging, but still entertaining. I really think you should find/create more fitting backgrounds for each room. A sitting room should look like a sitting room, with chairs and such. Maybe add some obstacles so you can't simply sweep in all directions. Create more obstacles each level to make it more challenging.
Nothing wrong with your game idea. Your game just needs some upgrading. Hope my suggestions are helpful. Good luck.
ps. Don't let the cook have is day off just yet :)
