Tooltips or hints as to how to progress are a must. I'm stuck on Tier 1 and not sure what I should be doing.....

Maybe it's not working correctly. If you have the time, can you let me know what browser and operating system you're using?

Some how everyone is just getting food and water...
And still they consume more then they make...
Seems your game is busted man...

Thanks for the comment! Is this happening early in the game? This will happen for big colonies, but for the first couple of tiers, more bugs should always be good. Food production starts to slow down around tier 4 (on the first run). The bugs have to go farther away to find it. Also the number of link bugs per worker increases on every tier, so consumption increases faster than production. Around tier 5 or 6 you won't be able to grow further without using the reset mechanic.

i have made it to a point in tier 5 where my gathering - using ratio is 1:1. if i build more clusters/nests/anything that produces any more workers then i cannot support my colony and it starts to die off... i would assume there is a prestige/reset mechanic somewhere but i cant find it.

How is this supposed to work? A nerve dies at age 200 (200 seconds), but produces a queen every 640 seconds? I've watched 5 nerves die and it didn't produce a queen?! Fix your game please! Other than that it seems pretty solid, but at Tier 4/5 it's getting really glitchy.

Thanks for taking the time to try the game! That is how it's supposed to work, but I wrote it in a very unclear way. The idea is you need some upgrades for the nerve to work on its own.

I just unlocked detachment and created a group. I selected the group that I had created because I wanted to add a nurser, so I zoomed in to tier 0, but now I have no idea how to go back up to tier 1. ((A few minutes later)) Wait, you click on the first creature in the group to zoom out. Someone should add that to the game somewhere so other people aren't also left trying to figure it out on their own.

Thanks for the feedback! I didn't realize that, but it is clearly a problem. You can probably see this is my first attempt at a game... I'm trying to think of a good way of letting you know you can click on the critter, but maybe I'll just add some text in the group leader.
