In general I used the Bow. Used the Axe for a few specific areas and finished the boss with the X-bow. I didn't like that I had to dodge weapons to keep the one I wanted.

I like how each weapon has it's own feel but they all cause the same amount of damage and that's really ridiculous; even if you were to use a weapon that fires two projectiles at the same time, like the bow or crossbow, against an enemy that requires two hits you're still gonna have to fire at him twice just like with a single shooting weapon. If the crossbow fires two arrows in a straight line then why don't they both hit the same amount of target? And why doesn't the boomerang just go through the enemy from the front and through the back as it comes back towards you instead of diseapering? Because it'll only come back if you haven't hit any thing and I think that's bull.
