You had a pretty neat and original idea when you came up with this game, and I think you put the overall gameplay functions together well, it's just missing things to keep it interesting for long periods of time. It could also use polish because most kongregators are completely spoiled. If you keep working on games and get really really good at them, make sure that you remake this game.

I think it's a good idea. It just needs more polish. Maybe a deeper story, music, save/load feature, etc.
