Description

Story is good, and so are the graphics, but the gameplay is really annoying. It is extremely hard to time your jumps between planets which makes even the first level very hard. 3/5

Enjoyed the game but It's far from brilliant. On improving the game i would make the skrymt float faster and add some sort of emotional plot twist between the two characters

(Continued from the last comment) There are some positives (such as the music [which is presumably going to be improved in its final score, but still great, albeit a bit repetitive, as is], and the art style), and I understand that the game isn't finished, but this seems more like a first draft than a demo. In the end, this game needs quite a bit more polishing until it can be called finished.

The storyline is simply illogical, and when paired with the game's lackluster controls (read: almost unplayable), it makes falling an unpleasant experience. Special mention has to go to the Scared Skrymt and A Captured Skrymt levels, for being utterly ridiculous. Scared Skrymt has the goal jump from planet to planet with jumps smaller than the player’s, allowing it to evade the player by jumping straight up, over the player if they stand still and back on the planet whether or not the player actually jumps, leading to a difficult and unnecessary chase scene between the two skrymts. A captured skrymt became the most difficult level in the game due to the insanity it takes to win it (SPOILER ALERT: aiming directly for the spiked planet leads to the player floating in and out of the various gravitational pulls until you reach the asteroid, putting you two luck-based moves from winning). Taking any other action will lead to the player being inexplicably pulled into the spiked planet.
Most levels have at least two solutions and so does the level with the captured skrymt. The second solution is rather hard to figure out but it lets you reach the skrymt in just two jumps. Many levels can be solved in just one jump. I agree that the level with the jumping skrymt involves a lot of luck since its movements is random, it's possible that I change this level. About the lackluster controls, I am not sure why they don't work for you but I recommend that you use space or enter to jump with since this might be a bit quicker than using the mouse. About the illogical storyline, I guess that is a matter of taste. /Max
