Flash End-of-Life, Ruffle Integration!
This game runs on Adobe Flash. Effective Jan. 2021, Adobe began blocking its flash player's use everywhere. Kongregate is now partnering with Ruffle to make some of our Flash content playable again. Rice fields should heal the whole party, not just the samurai. No wonder my companions keep dying... they're starving while the samurai is a fat lazy bastard.

For the "no defeats" badge here are some play tips: buy the monk as quickly as possible then work on your damage, health, attack speed to the third bar on each. Afterwards do the same thing with your monk's attack, dodge, and attack speed to the third bar. Finish the provinces which power up horseman and elite guards first, then the provinces that power up bowmen and swordsman. Leave the all forces gain hit points and there are more forces that spawn provinces for last. With these tips you should be able to finish the game on normal without having been defeated.

since we cannot train on past provinces the game over shouldn't delete upgrades bought on the province were we died

I would like to see that once you buy your upgrade you get to keep it whether you die or not. I think its crucial to the upgrade system.

Very nice game so far! I did find a bug: after you are 'out of moves' and purchase a '1 more click' for 15 silver, you can't use it (unless this was intended).
