Description

Follow Sorgal, the Exiled Demon, and his companions in a crusade against Hells and Heavens.

Born of Fire TD is a hybrid defense and RPG game, with elements that twist the rules of classic TDs.

Seven heroes of four classes (demon incarnate, kitsune, king and shield-maiden) await your command in 40 battles. Slay monsters from the deepest pits of Hells to the fields of Heavens, using over 40 spells. Enjoy a detailed story of the sword&sorcery kind.

Check the in-game help or the game guide for detailed informations.

v1.0.7 – ALT+click a skill in the skill tree to decrease one level; added skill cool-down visual markers; fixed the monster trapped in the dying animation bug; updated the walkthrough video for level 6; cool-down reduced for “gate”.

v1.0.6 – xp penalties are lighter (you may now carry lower ranked heroes with you to gain xp against higher ranked monsters as an alternative to soloing previous missions); heroes gain full health and mana after gaining a level; other minor bug fixes.

v1.0.4 – fixed the “Sun Path” skill; fixed the “Kyudo” lvl 9 pierce percent :)

v1.0.3 – Stalled loading at 80% should be fixed. if, by any chance, happens to anyone, please PM me with the OS/browser/Flash player info. Thanks a lot for anyone who helped!

Great concept. I would like to see more skills usable at once, more time to set up, more passive skills, less grinding. 4/5

Too much grinding, not enough strategy. You can win the game by clumping your heroes together, maxing the speed, and doing the level over and over without looking at the screen. I like the idea of the teleport powers, but they weaken your hero (only two skills allowed, and that's one of them), are hard to use in the middle of a fight, and aren't really worth it when you can get more experience faster by looking away from your monitor and letting the heroes die a few times.

Suggested improvements:
- Monsters give less experience if they've been through the end-gate. This will encourage players to kill them early.
- Have a third available skill, which can only be used for "active" skills like teleport.
- Make it easier to level up. The game's not too long, but the grinding makes it _feel_ too long.
