Description

It seems so simple, right? All you have to do is dodge the dark circles. No, not at all. It's pitch-black, so you can't see them except in the light of your glow. You'll have to be quick to survive.

I love the glow concept, and it is very pretty. Other commenters' ideas, such as upgrades and varying enemies, are good ideas. It's got a lot of potential! Some relaxing music would also fit this just perfectly (or maybe it just reminds me too much of Music Catch, the glowing and all).

First of all, let me say that I love the visual style. (And excellent thrill/resource ratio btw). I feel the game encourages one to stay still in the centre, then just press a single (as your's and your enemies' move directions match) key to sidestep the occasional enemy. That can't be good for fun. Possible improvements: addition of rather big but slow enemies, adding an "avoid cornering" incentive for exploration. Perhaps enemies moving in synchonised slow-fast cycles, to encourage frantic axploration and predictive thinking. Some form of inertia, to reward movement with speed. And on another tack, some more light in the direction of movement may also help relieve the frustration(thrill?) of trying to avoid one enemy and falling into a horde. Though probably not all of these together.
