A very nice and polished shooter, the grahphics are great and the music + sfx are good. The controls feel very unnatural, normally the Space key is used for shooting and not for pausing, causes quite some trouble first. Same thing for the up key, normally WASD and arrow keys have the same functionality in shooters. Mouse controls would also be nice, same thing goes for API implementation. 3/5 so far.

Controls are a mess man, no one and I mean no one is used to controlling a shooter this way. Stop that, make the fire controls like z x c or something - that we can do. Difficulty is also pretty retarded to start, balance is wayyyyyy the hell tilted away from the player. Not cool.

A bit too hectic (and not "Frantic") for me. Your goal is to bring fun to players no to humiliate them with fast flying asteroids and missiles at the first level. As a casual gamer with a slow learning curve i did not find pleasure in the first waves. Your graphics are nice but i did not have time to have a good look at them! I lack the mouse to do smooth circles around enemies.

ok...the main problem is drops. They move down so fast that the only way to grab them is to shoot an enemy point blank. They're almost gone by the time it's even possible to react, and gone before you could possibly get the ship to them.
slow the upgrades down, and/or increase the screen size.
