Description
Un simulateur de double pendule que j'ai réalisé pour un cours de physique. C'est vraiment fascinant à regarder.
Comment jouer
Boutons de contrôle : Pause - mettre en pause ou reprendre le pendule. Couleurs - changer aléatoirement les couleurs des lignes. Peindre - Dessiner sur le fond. Effacer BG - Effacer le fond. Ralenti - Faire bouger le pendule à 1/10e de la vitesse. Aléatoire - Aléatoirement position, masse et angles du double pendule. Réinitialiser - revenir à la position du pendule avant la chute.

We should be able to choose the length without just using random.

This is pretty cool. Makes me want to see what triple or quadruple would look like.
I was thinking the same thing! I'm going to see what I can do about adding this.

Pretty neat simulator! The only thing I've noticed other than not having the length customization (which I see you're working on), when the inner pendulum is longer than the outer one and they end up making a circle, the two speed up so much that it breaks the simulator and ends up flinging both pendulums off the screen.
Thanks! Yes, I believe this issue actually stems from the equations I used do not correctly model rotational motion above 90 degrees in either direction, so when it starts to make a full loop, sometimes it goes nutty bananas. I'm looking in to fixing this as well. Update coming soon, thanks for the input!
