good game, needs polish. for starters, you should be able to choose which blocks you use, so since there is 10 total blocks, maybe make the player choose 6 of them to take to the next stage. allow upgrades to go higher then 3, this allows for more customization for a player and allows him to try different strats. when you highlight a tower, should show a highlight circle around it showing its effective range. cant count the number of times i placed a fully upgraded block set, to only find out its out of range.
also it seems the fully upgraded minelayer doesnt seem to want to work.

The concept of the game is great, but what really kills it is the complete inverted feeling of progress in the game. Basically the more you evolve, the more modules you unlock, thus making it harder to concentrate upgrades in only a group of them since you are constantly being fed with more and more unit types. What should be a feeling of "upgrade" ends up being a downgrade downgrade to the gameplay as you progress, which also makes nearly impossible to complete early levels since you end up with a huge line of low level modules. If I had any chance of seeing a high level module chances are I missed it on early levels.

Whoa, press up and down to select a block to place in your queue. That makes the game soooooo much easier! Rate up so people know about this!

Like other people have commented I think this game has potential but misses the mark. It's not very fun due to the fact that micromanaging the blocks is frustrating and tedious. Additionally, I think it's too difficult. I'm not sure what strategy I can use that will help me defeat the large swarms of flying explosive drones. My weapon range isn't very good and I get overrun pretty easily.
