Under rating threshold (show) Great game. Original and really addictive. My one suggestion would be to include a depth guage with the compass. I would like to know how deep I'm at to swim back in time.

Under rating threshold (show) A thing to say, notably an "Unspoken Mechanic". Fish Frenzy. Hurt a fish along the spine to make it bleed, and then go up a little. This attracts large Carnivores the farther down you go.

Under rating threshold (show) Another beautiful game from 2DArray. If I remember correctly, "The Most Dangerous Game" has a similar theme and plot... and was written by Richard *Connell*! Reference? I think so. And "guffins" -- could it be a reference to the MacGuffin plot element? :D +1 so 2DArray reads and replies.

Under rating threshold (show) Just beat it. That was....I don't even know what to say. It was different in a good way. What really struck me most was...despite the fact they were just line segments, the "fish" freaked me out. Especially the huge ones. As I went deeper, and they got so much bigger, I literally had chills...just from line segments. Never had such a reaction to something so incredibly simple.

Not twenty minutes later I found a fish that took up my whole screen and marveled in its beauty before being scared half to death by the giant red box that threatened to take away my very life. It looks like so little, but it does so much.

Under rating threshold (show) I like how you can earn a lot at the deepest depths simply by salvaging the dead fish that come from the other fish fighting. You can be a pacifist and still collect fish!

Under rating threshold (show) The game seemed like a nice distraction at the start. As it progressed, it got more and more addictive, the 'fish' became more and more marvelous and beautiful to look at, the story grew increasingly more interesting and during the whole of your journey, calming music accompanies you. The ending is perfect and does make you question yourself. If I could, I would give the game 6/5.

Under rating threshold (show) Spoilers follow: Narrative wise: I had absolutely no problem with dying at the end. Gameplay wise: the final moment of the game being a boss fight that you have no option but to lose no matter how well you play feels really awful.
