If you play as Captain Connel and dive downwards for a few minutes it will become a bad dream and you will spawn at the top after that. O_O

I think, that it's not a bad thing to get reminded of "Motherload" by this one, since that game is a "must-play-once!" title for me. Fisher-Divers' creator may or may not have been inspired by it and made an amazing game, which, in my opinion, isn't a copy by any means - the atmosphere created by the amazing music, the storyline, which didn't let the game feel like a grinder and much more gave me the feeling, that my time was well spent. 5/5 for that :)...
Yup, some elements of the game are absoutely inspired by XGen's Motherload. It also draws from flOw, The Most Dangerous Game, Overgrowth, No Country For Old Men, and Hunting Unlimited 2009, among others.

4/5. Awesome ending and the extra mode is nice (I even went back down and fought the Captain while I was also the captain- I dont think its possible to win), but I would agree that the cargo is too small, especially at the end of the game where one of the really big fish can fill it up.

i find the 1st place in all time high scores for money (total) sorta fishy. theres a huge gap in between second place & 1st place. uhh, can admins do some looking into that?

the game needed to be MUCH longer. you could have put more time into building a better story. or atleast had one from the fisher's point of view and not some random outside source.

Know what would make the blackouts a lot cooler/scarier? If the bubble rotated and moved forward/backward, instead of just the four directions, so you could get mixed up while the screen was dark...

Regarding getting the most out of fish, You get more monies if you let it bleed out (Be efficient do the least damage but make it bleed the most)

this game needs only one thing "oxygen converter",that way you can have fun and destroy the biggest fish just for fun :P

the best way to get most out of a fish is to wait untill it exhales and chop off the head,in other words shoot where it bites. xD

to get the most out of a fish, just shoot it, swim next to it and wait for it to blead out. I usually just shoot it to death and then collect it though.

it'll replay from where you left next time you play, and when you get all the guffins just swim down as far as you can.

Oh my God I realize that I just one point away from lvl 31, so I choose this game to rate it, then I remember that I already rated this game 5/5, because is just amazing and good looking, with such an amazing story, so instead of that point, I'm gonna play it :)
