When I go down to try and get really big fish, I find a lot of smaller fish. When I've gotten to the big fish and fill up my storage, I go up and find a TON of big fishes above me, and hardly any small fish at all. I must have terrible luck ._.

To get the most out of a fish is to leave it intact so if you can shoot in the spine (Big white thing not the little ones) with out cutting it in two its worth more the less bits the better

As I travel a little ways in the wrong direction to the boat... "If you're getting lost, you might want to buy a compass. Oh, and the boat is to the right."

Truly one of the best games I have played I dunno why but I'm sure of it, this game has an awkward yet relaxing feeling while you play it, the details are just superb (compass, price value for the 'fish', how the environment and even the music changes while you go deeper) Another excellent game by 2DArray. *applauds* 5/5

Really good game! I really enjoyed it, it was even slightly calming a bit. =D I just hope I don't see an ending like that again. I might have nightmares about weird stick viper fishes myself. 8( (Maybe slight overreaction)

For those looking for guffins, I think there are only a limited amount that spawn each day no matter how much you look. So if you don't find any one day try hunting as much as you can, end the day, and check the next day.

To catch fish the give the largest amounts of money, do the following: 1) Find a big fish, 2) Cut it's head off (this is where you see bubbles from one end, do fishes fart?) 3) Wait. Get Mulitpliers, and those fish that give 2k a piece, will give a lot more. With enough upgrades, it takes one shot to behead any sized fish. Enjoy!

This game seems so philosophical that I got myself confused and made me second guess myself: Why am I a miniature see-thru Death Star who hunts fish? Why does the attack use the same oxygen I breath? Why do I smile every time I read an upgrade discription? IS THIS THE MEANING OF LIFE!?

A game that truly rises to the occasion and puts the player in one of the biggest sandboxes that exist in the world: The Deep Blue Sea. On one end, we are the hunter and we are given the greatest advantage ever allowed to ourselves, a human mind and the curiosity to explore the unknown. The ending gives us a shock back to reality, and by having no save points, the reality of it all comes true. Amazing game with a grand message. 5/5

I would love to see this expanded, have more kinds of fish, new locations, more upgrades, maybe upgrade the boat, different weapons...

I enjoyed this game very much. I just wish there were larger upgrades for storage capacity and oxygen capacity. Then I'd be able to stay in deep sea hunting the ridiculously large fish until they bit me to death. Still, 4/5.

I love this game, i played it the first time a long time ago but it's always fun when i come back to it. I remember having a dream about it when i was younger and it was pretty freaky.

Wow. Guys, I totally recommend any game you can find by Eli Piilonen. I've played several of his games, and all of them are addictive and creepy, especially at the ends. As for this game, I liked the unique gameplay and the minor storyline. Great game!

I loved this game! Games like this is what Flash games should be going for - Not long, simplistic, but with amazing style and feel to them. 5/5 for me.

Sure, Shooting fish with oxygen so powerfull that it shatters thier bones over and over while they run away helplessly and sadly isn't cruel to fish

I see people asking if the ending can be avoided- I think that's a no. I definitely landed a bunch of shots, he doesn't seem to take damage. It would ruin the drama of it all, anyway.

I am pretty sure that there is only one ending. I got quite a few shots in without any more reaction than a red flash. No actual damage.

Regarding characters, the fish looks pretty fine, much like eels, but I wonder what kind of a creature I control. Also, I love the nightmare feature. I used to experiment with such stuff in my game of Snake. For instance, a snake could wake up and find itself endless, or have an apple dodging it... Several different dreams were supported. So, while playing your game since day 2, I expected some dream-specific features to happen every day, trembling a bit. This must have been a significant part of the game's charm to me. And, of course, that mystery-casting music is awesome.

Since I see a lot of people asking about this, to find the Guffins you have to swim around until your character starts flashing. Once you start flashing, press the space bar (at the cost of oxygen) and it will point you in the direction of the guffin.
