I dont get why this isnt rated higher. The puzzles are clever, the mechanics are innovative, the story is moving and the music is so phreaking beautiful that i have this game open while i exercise.
Oh btw, 2DArray, can i get that track from anywhere?

it seems still many people can't get through 2-6 so there is a process of reasoning with a DIRECT ANSWER. SKIP THIS COMMENT IF YOU WANT TO SOLVE IT YOURSELF. first, you can't do a "normal" jump. what kind of jump is abnormal? yeah you might think of double jump and then find that you can't do the first jump so there's absolutely no second one. but that's actually possible if you think that double jump is a jump "in-air" instead of a "second" jump. so, yes, you can walk off a cliff and do your first jump gracefully in the air. :)

So after the Apr 30 update, my game loaded once, but again fails to load afterwards. Seems to be a problem with IE though. Works perfectly for me on Chrome.

some hints as it seems many people are asking about 2-6 & 3-4. for 2-6, she can't do "normal" jump, so she can still jump in an extraordinary way lol; for 3-4, remember to check out the switch even if you have already toggled it once. hope these help and didn't ruin too much fun.

I played both games Jack is the main char in "The Company of Myself"
And I've got to say 2DArray Is a GENIUS.....P.S. He might become a LEGEND ;)

I was on the verge of tears during chapter four. It's their song. Not to mention, it has that angelic ambiance to it now, so it's a super tear jerker.

How is it that such a marvellous game can be so unfairly downrated? Dialogue sync, awesome story, so touching with it's aesthetic value as well as it's a prequel of THE BEST PUZZLE GAME ON KONGREGATE. Smells of Best Game of The Week/ Month downrating...

So, I'm still wondering, in the swamp, you ask if Henry is around when you go near an object you probably wouldn't head toward to complete the level.
As far as I saw, it did nothing?
The game gave an interesting new perspective to the story... Im not sure how I feel about Jack, now.

Good game.. but for some reason the ending left me wanting more... I love that it fits so nicely with The Company of Myself though :D

After finishing it, couldn't stop myself from playing the company of myself once again. The music in both the games is just so awesome.
Personally, i still find the company of myself better, because it's so simplistic and yet so awesome.

I think my perception may be really low, yet I can't figure out how to get through level 2-2, as this laser kill the protagonist before she canget down.

prequel to "Company of myself", honestly there is no better way to advertise this game.

Woooow, that ending just floored me. You definitely expanded on a small puzzle game you made years ago and made it much more rich and profound. Yeah, it's a little wordy, but I think it actually makes it much more deep and meaningful than The Company of Myself: the smoking, the psychologist, and how each puzzle represents herself trying to overcome a struggle. 5/5

That awkward moment when halfway through the game, I realize the Kathryn, is the Kathryn mentioned in The Company of Myself.... It changed the whole game for me

One of a few games that actually make me NOT feel regretful for the time I spent on playing them. Thank you Authors, playing this one was a soul-stirring experience (pretty hard though but hey, the story isn't exactly easy to digest either). Thank you.
Also: God I need that soundtrack badly.

I wish philosophy games were less about game-play challenges. I lost interest in the story once the timing and aiming aspects of level 2-1 were introduced.

How to kill Jack in level 5 - 4:
Jump on the middle platform, but dont go all the way to the right and wait for jack to jump on the middle platform, then shoot your smoke ring at the switch in the top left. (It's a little hard to hit, but you can do it if you stand right on the leftmost edge of the platform).
You have to restart the level but it's funny :D
