A good prequel to Company of Myself. Filled in some of the question marks while presenting a few others. The blending of metaphor and reality nicely mimics CoM.
Still, I did come away wishing that the significance of the green box would have been touched upon and expanded a bit.

Awesome game swell job developer!! This game is a very good role model for kids. About how she turned her life around! 5/5 I think this game was helpful to some that don't understand effects of drugs.

I really love how the ending faded into music from The Company of Myself. For those of you wondering where his top hat is, beat the game! :)

Seems like it could be a cool little game.. Unfortunately, all the talking and.. "character development"? In the beginning has eliminated my interest. 2/5

Oh my gosh! At first I see the game and think "looks kind of cool, I guess". Then I say that it said a prologue to the company of myself and I was just thinking "AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

it seems still many people can't get through 2-6 so there is a process of reasoning with a DIRECT ANSWER. SKIP THIS COMMENT IF YOU WANT TO SOLVE IT YOURSELF. first, you can't do a "normal" jump. what kind of jump is abnormal? yeah you might think of double jump and then find that you can't do the first jump so there's absolutely no second one. but that's actually possible if you think that double jump is a jump "in-air" instead of a "second" jump. so, yes, you can walk off a cliff and do your first jump gracefully in the air. :)

@2DArray: The German keyboard layout doesn't have a tilde key, instead you get that symbol with the combination "Alt Gr" + "+". Sadly that doesn't work with the game, so I can't take a look at my progress and the current cheat code. Would you happen to have a solution for that? If not, I'd suggest, you change this in a future version of the game.
Otherwise: Nice gameplay, although a bit harder than most of the usual games here on Kongegrate. I'm stuck on the level, where you can't jump... :-(

Way too much dialog. It's not often I skip through entire conversations in games, and I found myself doing it all the time in this one.

Completed the EHUP in literally under 5 seconds. This is not a gloat, this is a hint. Pause, look at the situation, think about it, and know that you can do it in under 5 seconds. Good Luck!

Among all the graces this game possesses-- its story, its music, its pacing, to name a few-- I admire how it is not heavy-handed in dealing with more emotional themes. It shows how games can explore a complex narrative in a meaningful and interactive way. Truly a gem.

aha! I see why the developers use circles as smokes... its because there are times that you may see a skull in those smokes which signifies death! Nice Job! 5/5

There should be a warning that the cheat codes will disable Kong badges and that you will have to erase progress and start again - I've done the level that I cheated on properly but that is still not enough.

Really enjoyed the Company of Myself. Except for the last part which I like never got through :P This is really awesome! Wasn't even expecting a prequel and now I want more comin' :)

For those of you wondering - the second badge, the EHUP badge, is acquired by completing the extra hard puzzle upstairs in Henry's (the psychologist's) office. It can be completed by blowing a ring of smoke leftward, then running into it, pushing it into the goal switch at the end. Your movement affects the movement of smoke in the air.
It has no effect on the game besides acquiring the badge. Henry just congratulates you.

Anybody else stop skipping the text to see it instantly to letting it flow after finding out the guy is a stutterer? I felt kinda like being impatient to someone with that problem, yet it's just a videogame... :(
