I haven't played the sequel/original but I can say that this game with the psychologist following you around and conversing with you is deep...

More than five years after first playing this game, I realized - the obstacles, puzzles and challenges represent the way depression and other mental illnesses make simple tasks insanely difficult and reduce one's perceptions to caricatures of reality. The clue is right there in Chapter 1 where she's trying to do household chores, but the player sees only obstacles and pitfalls...

eppie spacely on the right of chapter 2-1 you see a meter with two blue lines and one yellow you need to hold your mouse until you are in the yellow area and then release it

This game's rated lower than 4 stars? Would not expect that. Seems it's a recent thing what with all the negative comments, hm... Strange. It was a masterpiece back in the day and it's just as playable today.

Has anyone figured out how to actually do the smoke rings to play chapter 2? It says to click with "the right timing" without giving any clue as to what that is.

To the people stuck in Chapter 2, the trick is basically to blow the smoke rings from further away. The 'extra hard puzzle' isn't at all difficult to execute, it just involves utilizing an aspect of gameplay not used anywhere else. Running with the ring makes it last longer

It's impossible to get through the first part of Chapter 2. The game provides no time to get out between the blocks after having blown the circular smoke.. Great concept otherwise. Would have loved to have finished the game if I could get past that bit..

Level 7 is not designed well with these controls, there's simply not enough time to hit the smoke detectos and get to the exit in time.

Gee, there seems to be a MAJOR bug with Level 8. I'm stuck in running backwards now and running off the cliff. Nice... NOT!

The whole game controls are way too tight making everything next to impossible to do. I gave up after trying to double jump up too get to my desk, over a bottomless pit, after 20 minutes I thought games should be fun to play and not a Rage Trigger for frustration. 1/5

the circles smoke is so hard, do you intentionally create it like that or what? we should be able to make circle smoke by pushing some button, maybe? to make this game easier, or you can make difficulty option maybe? good game, 4/5 for the circle smoke

Completed all levels, no perfect company badge. Replayed last level. No badge. Replayed last 2 levels, still no badge?

Dude that's exactly what I wan't from a platformer, tons and tons of text to read. I especially like how the tex appears when I'm doing something, obscuring my view of the level. That's trully brilliant.
You know what was great about the original? Telling a complex story through simplicity and great visual metaphores. This one is like someone who did not understand the first game tried to do a second one, trying way too hard to be artsy and deep.

On the last level, if you have the superjump cheat active you can escape the pit and be in the ending. During the ending, you are invisible but your steps and smoke are not. Perhaps fix that?
