When you figure out how to pass lvl18 but one of the shadows is standing just a bit too much to the side and falls off. *bangs head on keyboard* Damn, I'm in love with this game.

In the level where he pulled the lever causing his wife to die, I could suppose thats a metaphor for them being unable to be together, or parting ways. You realize that his wife is going to fall to her death, and you also realize that theres no other option for the characters to be together again, due to the level design. The character couldn't handle being separated from his wife (possibly a break-up), so he decided to kill her hoping to move on, however mentally scarring himself in the process; unable to believe that he killed her.
Also, the final level is a metaphor that he has told this very story many multiple times before, because of the the dozens of shadows trying to get across. Perhaps displaying a glimmer of hope that he can make new memories again, through repetition of his story.
Great game, and extremely depressing :[

I'm experienceing a bug that occured at the solution of level 7 and 8 (so far)...as soon as my shadows access the green door, the game does not advance to the next level and stays frozen at the point of the shadow accessing the green door. I have to refresh, restart and then continue to get to the next level. Thanks.

Why is the pink thing blocking the invisible ones? I can't get up from the place that has the lever to the door. That real player does not get blocked by the invisible thing. This is happening on level 7.

A good game. Puzzle plus a Story, The story can be very sad. This games are my type. At first, you don't know anything, then the story goes sad. You can cry because of sadness. 5/5

"The shrink leaves, and suddenly I don't even have a person to tell my story to anymore."
I really like this game, and the prequel. I wish I was good at art, like drawing and such. I'd love to make, or see something made out of this game's concept. I can think of some really cool wallpaper ideas for this, with the main character surrounded by silhouettes of himself with that quote there lol. It'd be cool <)
