I finished the 17 of the puzzles before I realized the icon in the lower right corner showed the documents I'd unlocked. That's almost the definition of gameplay-story segregation, and I didn't get into the story much because of it =/

Wow the files are quite interesting. I haven't finished it yet but I will when I have time :3 The game pushes you to think, which I liked much :3

It kinda annoys me that there are probably people who believe in a conspiracy like the one in the documents. The problem is that it contradicts itself. It asserts that there is a universe for every thought, and yet it also asserts that there is no free will. The conflict is that if there's a universe for every outcome, then every outcome is by definition a possibility. After all, you don't know which universe you're in. For all you know, you could be moving from one universe to the next every second based on what you do. There simply is not enough of a foundation to make the assertion that there isn't free will. Plus, the theory seems to assume that each universe is created for the same purpose: to tell a story. But if every thought creates a universe, and not every thought is a story, then that's obviously not accurate.

This game was incredibly interesting. It makes me rethink the title. If everything said in the game actually is true then I'm starting to think my own existence. But if it was all fiction - it's extremely well done. Spent a good 4 hours trying to work out each puzzle, time well spent. 5/5, very deep meaning - the puzzles were insanely hard but the information was so compelling, it made me want to unlock the next part so I couldn't leave any puzzle out. The music adds to the suspense and mystery - though the knocking sounds made me jump. Very good game!

Riots are literally the hardest for me.I have yet to pass lvl 3 and 4.
Its too hard for my taste.Any advice i would welcome.

I love how loads of the comments are from people saying that they couldn't start the game, but none of them actually say how to do it. Just spin your cursor in a circle around the little arrow thing until the circle inside the arrow gets big enough, then the game will start.

As for the documents, I went to a web page to read them because I couldn't stand having to move the view around. I got bored quickly. Getting preached at is dull.

I like the start. Most of the puzzles are fun. The one exception is Riot 3. That was not fun. It was a frustrating chore. The concept that you fill the screen by standing still is fine. The main problem was that getting hit took away all progress and the screen took so long to fill. Contrast to level 2 and 4 where I had to be close to the circles and simply move, respectively. The most important thing here is that I am rewarded with faster filling for doing well. There is no such reward in Riot 3. It's the same slow pace the whole time and even when I had a pattern worked out, it was very easy to dodge one row and hit another that hadn't yet cleared the screen.

By the way, has anyone figured out why some of the documents are "hot linked" to each other? I discovered this on the one that says "this space is intentionally left blank," where double clicking different parts of that subtle "blank space" up top will take you to other docs (and you can usually return by double clicking at the bottom) but it also applies to other documents which have a subtle "blank" area like that one up top. I feel like it was just a feature (to click through documents) that got dropped partway through programming, but due to the nature of the game I wonder if it could be a form of steganography as well (where parts of one document are encoded and lead into parts of another)...

Great game! There are some challenging parts for sure (mostly the riddles for me). Rotary only requires observation (although I'm not sure how colour blind individuals got through it); with river you learn as you go; riot just takes patience. Document #18 clinches it (**SPOILER WARNING FOR THIS AND CERTAIN OTHER POPULAR 2DARRAY GAMES FROM HERE**): These letters/documents were collected and sent by Jack (probably after he killed Kathryn, and obviously before he was put in the institution).

The audio maintains the atmosphere tremendously and the documents kept me intrigued the entire time. My only complaint is that the graphics are rather eye-straining, and it hurts to stare at the game for too long.

Riot's the arcade part, its not hard to figure out what you need to do...doing it is the hard part. Other than that, interesting game.

2nd riot: Stay close to your enemies. 3rd: The green rises when you're still, based on time spent moving, not the rate of movement. Make quick strides. 4th: Don't stop moving.

Ignore that last comment, I had a friend look at the screen and he told me the reason I only saw two was because there were only two. I probably should have tried solving it before saying anything.

First of all, I really like this game. That said, I'd appreciate a different distinction on the rotary levels, due to colorblindness. The first one was fine, and I got through the second with only a little confusion due to blue and purple looking the same, but I only see two colors on round three. Seeing as how about 2.1% of people are colorblind, that means that about 1,496 people before me would have had this problem. It just seems like something that ought to be fixed.

A tip if you are stuck on rotary level 4. Solve three triangles that are between each other and then by only switching the colors around on the three you have left you can solve the puzzle.

Each riot level is different. First is just avoid. Second is stay close to the crowd. Third is be still. Fourth is don't stop.
