This game was actually depressing. Listening to EXADI's monologues before each level reveals a lot about her life and the life of her previous user. On the last level, it brought me physical pain to destroy what made EXADI human. 5/5 for the emotional pain.

Very well done. I was like, *GASP!* when EXADI described about her creator's depression and how he dealth with it. It's only natural that she wanted you to stop her depression. Besides that, it was a fantastic shooter that commands respect. Why not try a similar formula in another game?

Great game, great story. I felt bad on the last level also. I would recommend you fix one thing though, put the enemies on a layer above the bits. It's incredibly annoying when the small viruses are hidden under all of the bits that are coming at you.

This game is amazing! At the beginning I would only praise it for it's fun gameplay and cool framework-like asthetic, but the story adds in so much more! As soon as the computer began to speak, I sort of felt a connection. It wasn't text on a screen anymore. It was like an actual character I was trying to help. I never felt this kind of connection to a video-game AI since I last played Portal, and this game came before Portal 2! When GLaDOS first began to have any emotion at all! And the effect the developer added to her voice is, humf, cherry on a cake!

YFYIAR AI: HUMANS ARE INCAPABLE OF SELFLESSNESS. YOU FIND YOURSELF IN A ROOM
ME: ah shit *braces self for the game to turn into YFYIAR*

i like how exadi took the same out her programmer did, wonder if he made the ai depressed on accident, simply cause he was depressed, or just because , imo, life kinda sucks and the ai didn't have a bunch of bs to cheer itself up with?

During the final stage,I was left with one black triangle in the black background, which resulted in one of toughest shooter bosses to kill i have ever seen(or haven't seen).

wow, just wow, im sitting here after finishing the last lvl, and im speechless and numb, i had to just sit for several minutes just staring at the end image before i could do anything... its amazing how some simple text and a convincing voice can get you so immersed in the story, that you actually start to feel for the AI, i had to work up ... something, i woulndt call it courage because that sounds wrong, before i could even attempt the last lvl. well done, well done indeed. plus i am wearing headphones with extra bass, so the heartbeat were really adding to the experience, and the music just disappearing somewhere in the middle was brillian, perfectly adding to the increasing "sadness" for lack of a better word. so yeah, these are my thoughts as i thought them, in no particular order ;)

For anyone who did'nt get it Her creator was a Father who's Daughter died and hoped he could create some semblance of his daughter in the form of the AI upon realizing this was fruitless however he began taking Anti-Depressants HOWEVER... near completion of the AI he just got more depressed and realized he'd never see his daughter again.. and therefore he killed himself... It was a Great game and I also Love YFYIAR
Both of these games were amazing Congrats to the Developer Unless the developer happens to be this games dad... in wich case RIP.

As usual, your unit is very susceptible to the viruses contained inside. Either use some form of protection or pull out as quickly as possible. Sex joke -_- really. xD

I don't understand why the shooting feels so unnatural. I can't seem to really reliably aim all too well. It feels sluggish and it doesn't look like it's aiming where I'm actually aiming. This could be me entirely but it just doesn't feel right at all.

For those of you wondering, the amount of bits you need for the Easy Badge is 170. [+] to keep this information known.

That was actually really dark and depressing. All it wanted was to be more human, and when it finally reached its ultimate goal, it committed suicide. Definitely hit me right in the feels. So emotional. :( 5/5

"There is no reason for a human to commit suicide..." Quite possibly the wisest thing ever said that wasn't even spoken by another human.

She just followed her creator, in some way, it feels nice to help a machine out, even though you broke it's heart, and killed it (And tore it to pieces... Portal Reference)

Maybe when you finish upgrading everything enemies would stop dropping bits? Even if the enemies were on a layer above the bits its extremely distracting to have several hundred white bits flying at you when you're trying to dodge both bullets and mini viruses at the same time.

Guys, did anyone else see the two Zeros in the background on one of the levels, the one where it looks like their hooked together to make an 8? Please tell me I'm not seeing things.

Me: "Aw, her emotions are dying. I don't want to kill her heart."
Also me, halfway through the final level: "DIE YOU STUPID HEART!!!!!"

OMG dude! After I finished the game, the 2's irritated me so bad that I had to play through the entire game again to find out whether there was a two in every stage or not! Way to go for turning an upgrading shoot-em-up into a where's wally game XD
The only flaw I see with the game and what really gave me the poops was that the upgrades stopped all of a sudden (and with me being a suicide spammer I was only at level 5 before I hit the end of all upgrades) and it then became extremely annoying to try to see all those little buggers that fly at you through the massive stream of bits they leave when you blow them up.
All in all though, this game was quite enjoyable and I found to be the most depressing story line I have seen in a game to date. Other games have some kind of hope. This one ended like something out of a Thomas Hardy novel. I swear if I wasn't such a manly MAN *flexes muscles* I would have cried lol.
Good job and keep up the great work!
