Worth playing just for the giggles. The author expertly mocks the hazards of a user based rating system without coming off as whiny or cruel. This is more of an editorial than a game, and I love the creativity of it all. And if you don't get the sense of humor in the game, you've probably written one of those pop-ups yourself on numerous occasions.

I guess it's trying to make commentary but a lot of the comments are well-founded. When the game lags, that's a legitimate complaint.

I agree to a large extent with hlkafhalsksksk-etc criticism and feedback is good for the developer and the community this game isn't making fun of criticism in general only unconstructive criticism that doesn't offer alternatives suggestions or any send-up of the game merits only an instant criticism of some small, insignificant, soemtimes imagined faults in the game. not all criticism is bad. just one line that doesn't help the developer and ends with "and i'm rating you poorly 1/5 lol" is.

I agree with some of the criticisms of gamers giving games 1/5s just because of one or two things, but some gamer complaints are valid. Obviously not all of them - many gamers complain for stupid reasons and underrate because of them. But if a game is just an unoriginal remake stolen from the good ideas of someone else, that's a valid complaint. If a game is too hard, and I don't just mean hard, I mean made to be literally impossible, that's also a valid complaint. People shouldn't rate games extremely low for stupid or frivolous reasons, but that doesn't mean that genuinely bad games should get a free pass. This particular game wasn't half bad, and a lot of the complaints that it addressed are stupid, and rating games with a 1 because of them is ridiculous. But good and bad ratings exist to separate the fun games from the crappy ones. The ratings should be given after serious consideration. Don't spend an hour thinking about it, but at least give it 10 seconds of thought.

Yes, we should give all flash games on Kong 5/5 just because doing otherwise is like letting game designers starve. In fact, let's eliminate the entire rating system altogether, since we won't need the other four numbers! After all, it's not the quality of a game that matters, just that someone took the time to make it.

Sure, games probably shouldn't be judged solely on whether they're Demos, hosted on non-Kong sites, or give Kred donors extra stuff for donating. But when any of the aforementioned (and countless other metrics I didn't mention) prevent players from getting the full experience out of a game hosted on a FREE FLASH SITE, I will always be there to rate it down. Just finished it, and I stand by my comments. The final control scheme comes out of nowhere and is really cumbersome. That's a totally legitimate complaint. Some of them were kind of funny, like the "TOO HARD" and "THAT'S NOT REALISTIC" stuff. But you're lumping that alongside real constructive criticism.

Not particularly impressed. There are some perfectly legitimate complaints out there, and the problems behind them don't just go away because you mock them. There's good reasons to complain about stuff like, say, the lack of a mute button... and where those complaints are justified, they should certainly be leveled. Complaining about the complaints itself isn't especially meaningful... although, come to think of it, here I am complaining about complaining about complaints... so yeah. Also, 1/5

All these other common complains are pretty valid though, such as the mute button problem. Heck providing a GOOD working mute/volume control is just basic programming sense, and its very valid FEEDBACK for the dev.
Kreds, to pick a personaly hate, dont exactly make a game 'free' anymore does it? Basically you only got two choises as a dev when implementing kreds in a game: either use them for useless stuff, which probably wont help you a lot, or use them for game content, and then you made a 'demo'. Not something I personally find as enjoyable. Also note that if you start charging for a game, that means you'll have an income from it, which will mean you can have more time to spend on making games then a free games maker. In which case you better make a hell of a lot better games, and that's not always the case.

lol i was listening to peephole by system of a down and he was singing "dont ever get stuck in the sky" as i beat the game. Terrible game 5/5
